Birthday Card Using CTMH Laughing Lola

Hello friends!  It has been cold in the US.  I hope all of you are staying warm and healthy.  I know there has been a lot of flu and viruses already this year.  I heard on the news that it is an epidemic in several states already this year.  My kids and their families have had it really bad.  Some people still have a bad cough.

My mother is still in the nursing home and she has pneumonia now.  She was able to resist the flu that her roommate and over half the nursing home had; but she ended up with pneumonia instead. She was confined to her room for two weeks; because they didn't want the flu to spread to everyone; then she got out for two days.  She is confined to her room again until she gets better.  I feel sorry for her; since she was so independent before she got cellulitis at Thanksgiving.  

I have a card that I created for DS4J before Jen Lee stopped drawing for them; so I decided to go ahead and post it now.  I really love her work; and was very disappointed that she decided to stop drawing.  I thought the card turned out really cute; so I am going to share it here. Birthday Card Using CTMH Laughing Lola Paper and Cricut Art Philosophy Cartridge

Hi to everyone in Blogland!  I hope everyone is having a good time and making time to create!  I feel like a part of me is missing if I am not creating every few days.  I woke up with another headache; but decided to ride my bike to enjoy the beautiful Southern CA weather.  It made me dizzy; but it was worth it just getting outside for a while.
 

I have created my 3rd card of the year; so I am trying to make up for lost time.  LOL!  I didn't create for several weeks due to the holidays.  I am using another FREE digi that you can find at Lacy Sunshine.  You will receive a free digi each time you enter their challenge and use one of their digi stamps.  I love these adorable stamps.  Who wouldn't want to try them.  Just click on the link above and follow the directions for getting your free digi stamp each challenge.  If you don't own one of their sweet images; you will have to purchase the first one and then you will be able to get a new one every two weeks.  How fabulous is that! 
 

I used a Mojo Monday sketch to create this.  I just turned it around a little.  See below.  I am using the one featured on this challenge; which is "Rory Love".  I thought she was so cute; that I had to use this one.  She costs only $2.00 today; but that may be for just another day.  You will have to check the Lacy Sunshine Stamp Website to view all of the fabulous digi stamps.

Male Birthday Card - 16th Birthday Using Cricut Artiste Cartridge

Hi to all my fabulous readers/followers.  I had a good day today.  I actually rode my bicycle outside for about 45 min.  It was a gorgeous day, sunny, although a little windy; but warm.  So nice to see the leaves changing on so many trees.  I love the fall and all the gorgeous colors of the leaves.  I hope you are having a good day today; as well. 

It is such a wonderful time of year to be grateful.  I hope everyone has a fabulous Holiday season.  Remember, take time to thank someone for being a part of your life.  Take time to stop and enjoy the scenery; whether it be snow, rain, whatever you have in front of you.  Just appreciate it and be grateful for everything/everyone you have in your life.  We don't know how long any of us will be here; so make sure you tell the important people in your life how much you love them and how much they mean to you.  Enjoy every minute you have together; as it is a blessing.

I created this card for my grandson; who will be 16 yrs. old in December.  I used the sketch at Simon Says Stamp.  I love to use sketches; but haven't used them for a while.  I hope you enjoy my card.

Birthday Card Using CTMH Laughing Lola Paper and Cricut Artbooking Cartridge

DT Project For Tammy's Scrapin Corner Challenge #72 - Fantasy Creatures

 

Hello to all you fabulous crafters in Blog land.  I hope everyone is doing well and finding time to create.  I have been learning how to use the new Cricut Artbooking cartridge to create cards and having so much fun.  I can't wait to get started on using it for Scrapbooking.  I know it will save me a lot of time and hopefully get me started on creating scrapbooks for my two son's.  I planned to start them over a year ago; and just haven't had the time. 

 

One of my excuses was that I didn't have enough space to spread out my work; which was very true.  I now have a small room dedicated to just my office/scrapbooking/Cardmaking space.  I have an extra table that I plan to use to keep my layouts; but I haven't gotten it cleaned off since moving everything to one room.  I plan to get that done very soon; so I can begin scrapbooking.

 

I don't know if you are aware that I created two videos on You Tube (per your request); to demonstrate how easy it is to use Digital Stamps for your creations.  Here is the link to my You Tube Channel; so you can follow me and not miss any of my videos.  You can also find other videos under the "Video" tab at the top of the blog. 

I just finished creating two new Cricut Artbooking Videos last night; so they should be published by the end of the day on Monday, July 22, 2013.  I am planning to create more videos for the Artbooking Series to help you with your creations.  You can follow my You Tube channel.

I chose Milk Coffee "Fairy Tiffany" because it was love at first sight.  LOL!!  I had to create another Side Step Card; since this is my favorite type of card.  I had fun coloring this image and creating this card.   I used a 6 x 12 cardstock, with 1 1/2 in. on one side and 4 1/2 in. on the other side.  I scored  at 1, 2, and 7 on the smaller side with only a 6 inch score on the bigger side.  Cut between 1 - 7 on the small side.  The fairy wings are really a light purple; but the color is hard to see in the pictures.   I hope you enjoy the inspiration.
