Hello friends.  I hope your weather is doing better for everyone.  I haven't been able to ride my bike for a week; due to lots of rain and high winds.  It has warmed up again the past few days; so hopefully the wind will stop soon.

Birthday Card Using Whimsy Stamps Wee Snippet

Hello friends.  I have heard there is a lot of snow across the US.  I was hoping it would be a better winter for everyone than last year; but instead it is just coming later.  Please be careful out there if you have to go out in the bad weather.  I use to live in MO and we had a lot of ice and snow.  It was so challenging to drive in that mess.

I created a bunch of cards several weeks ago; but haven't be able to post any of them.  I am having a lot of problems with my joints; especially my wrists and arms.  It has been very painful to type.  I will try to get them posted as quickly as I can.  

I created this adorable card using Whimsy Stamps "Wee Snippet".  Isn't she the cutest thing?  I also used a sentiment from Whimsy Stamps Fluttering By.  I used Whimsy Stamps Butterfly Frame die and also the Butterfly border die; which is where all the gorgeous butterflies came from.  I just cut them apart; so I could use them on this card.  

I created this card for my granddaughter, Gabrielle.  She is struggling with trying to find her place in life and will be 19 yrs. old in April.  I wanted to use some pastel colors I had in my stash; but they really don't show up very well in the pictures I have taken.  My camera decided to start taking all blurry pictures; so I had to finally take them with my IPhone.  I hope you enjoy my card.

Art By Miran Facebook Group Progressive Challenge

Hello friends.  We have had beautiful Spring like weather in Southern CA; so I have been able to ride my bike a few times.  The warmer weather always makes me feel like I need to do something to my house; such as spring cleaning.  LOL!  I decided it would be more fun to create more cards; so that was my choice rather than cleaning.

Art By Miran has a private Facebook group page; so you do need to request permission to join. She just started a progressive challenge every month; beginning with January 2015. This means you start by purchasing a discounted Art by Miran image she has chosen for that month; create something with it, enter the challenge; and then you will receive the next month's image free.  Isn't that fabulous?!  I love her images and plan to participate as much as possible.  You can only enter using the image she has selected.  It is fun to see all the different creations using the same image.  

Here is my first creation for this challenge.  I used her Artbymiran Petal Blossoms; which is the creation she chose to use in January.  Click Artbymiran to shop. The challenge ends Feb. 12, 2015; so you have plenty of time to purchase this image and create a fabulous entry for her Facebook Progressive Group Challenge.  I did use a bigger size card this time; because I wanted to use my Anna Griffin Flourish die.  I cut out a 6 x 7 1/2 size card; plus added the taller piece on the right to accommodate the Flourish die.
