Birthday Card Using Cricut Art Philosophy, Cricut Artbooking, Nate's ABC's and Kate's ABC's

DT Project For Tammy's Scrapin Corner Challenge #76 - Theme is Image Containing Food

Hello to all my crafting friends.  It has been very hot here in Southern CA.  I hope it cools down soon.  I hope all of you are having a fabulous summer and enjoying the weather wherever you are.  I never seem to have enough time to get everything done that I would like to do.  I think I got more done when I was a mother of 3 and working full time than I do now.  LOL!  I think we learned how to juggle it all and had a lot more energy.  I am in awe of so many of you mothers that you find time to actually create things.  That is amazing to me.  I didn't start this until several years after my kids were moved out and had families of their own.  My oldest granddaughter is 21 years old and my youngest grandson is 10 years old.  My daughter has 4 kids and works and finds time to take care of her grandmother.  I don't know how she does it all.

It is a very sad day for myself and my family.  My sweet, precious, ex-mother-in-law passed away last night in MO.  She was my children's father's mother.  So sad.   She would have been 90 in Dec.  She had a mild stroke a week ago and seemed to be doing really good; but took a turn for the worse on Friday night.  I will not be able to attend the funeral; which is very heartbreaking for me; but not much I can do about it.  She had lived alone until this happened.  She will be greatly missed by everyone who knew her.  She passed away on one of my grand-daughter's birthday-Abigail.  I made this card for Abigail.   Please say a prayer for myself and the family.

It is time for another wonderful week at Tammy's Scrapin Corner Challenge #76 - Theme is Image Containing Food.  I hope all of you will take time to create something and enter it for some fabulous prizes.  We look forward to your creations and miss you when you are gone.  This week is a really easy one.  Just include an image with food on it.  Our sponsor this week is Eureka Stamps.  I love their stamps.  They have both Digi and Rubber stamps; so click on their name and check out their awesome collection of stamps.
If you would like to be considered as a Guest Designer; just add GDT behind your name when you enter your creation this week.  Take a chance.  It is a great experience!  Good luck.
I chose Eureka Stamps - Pumpkin Racoon for my card this week.  Raccoon is actually spelled with 2 c's; but it is only spelled racoon in their shop.  I love this stamp.   I used the Cricut Art Philosophy for the die cuts on my card this week.   I decided to create a birthday card for my granddaughter with this one.  I love the dragonflies on this background paper with the combination of orange and green together.

I used a sketch from Sketches By Carly from last August, 2012.   I was on their Design team before they discontinued it and I have a lot of their sketches.   I loved working with Carly.  She is very creative.  I hope you enjoy it.  I also used a stamp set inside that I won from Your Next Stamp. (Whatnot Sentiments One-KWS01).

Birthday Card With CTMH Surf's Up Paper Using Cricut AP, Artiste and Sophisticated Cartridges

DT Project For Tammy's Scrapin Corner Challenge #50 -  Sketch.

Hi fellow bloggers and creators!  I am happy to be here and to be able to create.  I don't know how I survived all these years without creating like I do now.  I wasn't aware of it and was busy working a lot.  I hope all of you are finding time to create as well.  It is very therapeutic for me.

Please join us for another great week at Tammy's Scrapin Corner Challenge 50 - Sketch.  Desire has created a wonderful sketch for us to use as a guide this week; which is shown below.   Our sponsor this week is SK Digis.  Be sure to visit them on the web to see all the adorable images they have available.  Check out the other members of the DT so you can see their interpretation of this wonderful sketch.

Our Guest Designer this week is Debora.  Click on her name to view her blog and her wonderful creations.  If you would like to be a Designer on Tammy's Scrapin Corner; just add GDT behind your name when you enter the challenge.  We would love to have anyone who is interested enter and a winner will be chosen each week.  Don't give up if you don't win the first time.  Keep trying.

I selected SK Digis "Teddy Bear With Turtle" for my twisted easel card this week.  I love this image and had to use it.  It was a challenge trying to find a shape I wanted to use for the center.  I wanted it to be different than my usual choice of backgrounds; which I think I achieved.  LOL!!  I finally found this backgroud piece on Cricut Sophisticated and decided to use it.  Any shape can be used as your center piece.  Just have fun with it.  Be creative!!
