Hello friends.  I hope everyone is doing well.  I have been creating a lot of cards lately.  I am hoping it will help me in getting better at my coloring.  I have heard that the more you color/practice the better you will get; so I am hoping that is true.  LOL!

I used Art by Miran Maisie (new image) for this months Facebook Anything Goes Challenge. I just love this sweet image.  I tried something I have never done before; and that is to punch the edge of the card; which I really liked.  We would love for you to join us in this months Anything Goes challenge.  I hope you enjoy my card.

Google Account Required To Follow Google Blogger

Hello friends.  I posted this message in December 2015; but wanted to do it again.  Blogger is deleting many of our followers every day; because they now require a google account for you to be able to follow Blogger blogs.   Please take the time to create a Google account; so you can continue to follow your favorite blogs.  After you have created a Google account; you will need to go back and rejoin all of your favorite blogs; as you have been removed from all of them, if you did not have a Google account.  

Here is an announcement from Blogger; with changes that could affect anyone who does not have a Google account.  Apparently, starting the week of Jan. 11; everyone will be required to have a Google account to follow blogs.  Please read message below.  It is an easy fix; but does require everyone to have a google account.

An update on Google Friend Connect

In 2011, we announced the retirement of Google Friend Connect for all non-Blogger sites. We made an exception for Blogger to give readers an easy way to follow blogs using a variety of accounts. Yet over time, we’ve seen that most people sign into Friend Connect with a Google Account. So, in an effort to streamline, in the next few weeks we’ll be making some changes that will eventually require readers to have a Google Account to sign into Friend Connect and follow blogs.

As part of this plan, starting the week of January 11, we’ll remove the ability for people with Twitter, Yahoo, Orkut or other Open Id providers to sign in to Google Friend Connect and follow blogs. At the same time, we’ll remove non-Google Account profiles so you may see a decrease in your blog follower count.

We encourage you to tell affected readers (perhaps via a blog post), that if they use a non-Google Account to follow your blog, they need to sign up for a Google Account, and re-follow your blog. With a Google Account, they’ll get blogs added to their Reading List, making it easier for them to see the latest posts and activity of the blogs they follow.

We know how important followers are to all bloggers, but we believe this change will improve the experience for both you and your readers.

I am sorry if this causes any of my followers issues; but I hope you will be willing to create a Google account; so that you can continue to follow anyone who has a blog with blogger.  You will need to create a Google account and become a follower again; as they will remove all the followers who do not have Google accounts.

I appreciate all of my followers and hope to see all of you still on my followers list next year.

Encouragement Card Using Conie Fong "Feeling Fabulous" and Cricut Artiste Cartridge

Hello friends.  How is everyone doing?  I hope everyone on the Northern East coast is starting to get out of the snow.  That was quite a snow storm that you had.  I hope that your homes and family are all safe and warm now.  

I have had this image for a very long time; but finally took the time to create a card for my sweet elderly mother.  She loves these little girls, flowers and little critters; so I thought it would be perfect for her.  It is Conie Fong "Feeling Fabulous" digi.  Her shop should be opening soon.  I bought this while she was with Sweet Pea Stamps; but they closed their doors last year.  Conie Fong has started a Facebook group; and will let us know on that site; when she is opening her online store.  I hope you will join us in her new group.  There are a lot of awesome creations there.

Celebration Card Using Ching-Chou Kuik digi with CTMH Kaleioscope Paper

Hello friends. I hope you are all doing well today.  I can't believe it is the end of January already.  Where did the month go?  It has already been a busy New Year for me.  I have been creating more cards than ever before this year; and loving it!  

I realized that I had forgotten to create a card with Ching-Chou Kuik New Year Celebration digi that she gave her Facebook group for free.  There are still a few days left to get in on this challenge; if you have your free digi.  It is a gorgeous image.  I hope you like it.  I didn't finish the inside; as I don't know what I am going to do with it yet.  I used a lot of glitter on several places; but couldn't get them to show up in the picture.  The dark blue ribbon is really dark purple.  It never takes in my pictures.  LOL!  I didn't use any dies on this card so far either.  That is really odd for me.
