All Occasion Card Using Conie Fong Crystal Fairy Without Crystals

Hello friends!  How are you?  It is less than one week till Christmas.  I finished decorating our Christmas tree today.  Yay!   Is anyone ready for Christmas?  It is such a busy time of the year for most people.  The traffic increases tremendously here in Southern CA.  I don't like to drive anywhere during this season.  I believe more people get out during Christmas season than any other time of the year; or maybe they just get out more often.  

Conie Fong created several new images for Alyce with Kit and Clowder to use as part of her Whimsical Wonders Coloring Classes.  I purchased both classes; and you receive a code for 50% off of the images.  One is for Colored pencils and one is for Markers with different images for each one.  I have asked for the Colored Pencils for my Christmas gift; because I would love to learn to use them.  I decided to go ahead and take the Marker class; as there is always something new to learn; plus I do need help in that area; especially with backgrounds.  LOL!

I created this card using Conie Fong Crystal Fairy Without Crystals.  I am in love with this new image and it is prettier with the Crystals; which is part of the Colored Pencils class mentioned above.  I am waiting to start that one after Christmas.  I am super excited to learn to color with Colored Pencils.  Alyce is very good with both Markers and Colored Pencils and someone I truly admire and love to learn with her classes.

Birthday Card Using Cricut Artbooking Cartridge

Hi to all my fellow crafters/friends.  I have been on vacation; so haven't created anything for over 3 weeks and I feel lost right now trying to come up with something to share with you.  Tammy's Scrapin Corner has changed to teams now and my team creates a card every two weeks now instead of every week.  I think I require some sort of discipline to create weekly; but I am sure I will enjoy it once I get the swing of having a week to create anything I want.  I love using sketches; and I use to do a lot of them; so maybe I will start doing that again.

I used the Bugaboo image "Live, Love, Laugh Flower Fairy"; which is normally black; but I made it lavender.  I decided to use all lavender and white for my creation; which is my favorite color - of course.  I got this new Die Cut from Joy Crafts called Butterfly Edge Die and had to use it right away.  I have tried to get it for a while and it was back ordered.  I love this die.  I love butterflies of any shape or color and I also love fairies.  I have had this image for a while.

Sketches By Carly #61 - My Heart Pieces Digital Stamps

Hi everyone!! I am so excited to share my card; as this is my first post using a digital stamp that I actually colored myself.  I need a lot of practice; but I felt it wasn't bad for a beginner.  I find these little stamps hard to color even with glasses!! Maybe you have to print bigger images than 2.5 like I did.  I only have about 14 Copic markers; so I didn't have a lot of selection.  I used what I had and did the best I could. 

CTMH is coming out with a new marker August 1st; so I can't wait to see what it is now that I am actually using Digital stamps.  Using digital stamps opens a whole new world for creating cards.   I still love my acrylic stamp sets and wouldn't trade them for digital ones; but it is fun for a change to use the fairies and little girls, etc.  I am very happy to be testing the waters and learning new things. 

As most of you know; I am a Guest Designer for Sketches By Carly for the summer and I am having a wonderful time.  I love these sketches.  They are created by Carly; who is a very creative 13 yr. old girl.  I think she does a fantastic job; which is why I wanted to be on her team to show my support of what she is doing.  I was so impressed that a 13 yr. old was making a difference with her talent.  Here is the card I created using a digital stamp from "My Heart Pieces called Gun Gun"
