Friend/Thank You Card Using CTMH Budding Peony Stamp set

Hello friends!  I hope everyone is doing well.  It has been very windy and warm here the past few days.  At least the rain seems to have stopped for now.  

Here is another card I created during the night when I was supposed to be sleeping.  I found this posted somewhere on Pinterest I think.  This version was created by Gaynor Boyce.  Click on her name to pull up her blog post and the link for her video.  

I used different measurements than Gaynor did; as I wanted it to fit in a A2 sized envelope.  I also wanted it to stand up; so I added the card to a regular A2 sized card base.  You have to open it further or it falls over from the weight of the front.  I also added an extra layer of the black cardstock to the back of the card; trying to give it more support.  LOL!  I thought I could write a note in that section.  See photos below of what I have created.

Birthday Card Using Conie Fong Tori The Dragon - Up and CTMH products

Hello friends!  It has turned cold over most of US and especially the East coast and the south; even in FL.  Brrrrr!   I feel guilty for our hot weather.  It is supposed to be 79 today.  It is hard to believe it is so cold everywhere else.  I hope it warms up soon for everyone who is cold right now.

I created this adorable Conie Fong "Tori the Dragon - Up" for one of my great-grandsons birthday.  I tried not to use anything too small for embellishments.  I am always worried about small children choking on things.  I thought it turned out very cute; even without tiny embellishments.

Birthday Card Using Conie Fong Summer Blossoms with CTMH Little Dreamer Paper

Hello friends!  It has been super hot here in Southern CA; but it's going to get over 100 today.  I can remember that CA used to be cooler than this; and that it rarely got above 80's.  I wonder what happened to all of that cooler weather.
