Anniversary Card Using Cricut Artiste Cartridge

DT Project for The Squirrel and The Fox - Challenge 63 - Love

Hi to all my wonderful followers.  I am trying to learn how to use my IMac; which I have had for almost a year now.  I need to go to classes; but haven't felt like doing it yet.  There are several things I can't figure out; but I will eventually.  I just find it easier to use my PC; but it keeps having issues; so I would love to be able to switch to this computer.

It's time for another fabulous challenge at The Squirrel and The Fox - Challenge 63 - Love.  This one should be easy for all of you; and you have two weeks to enter your card.  Our sponsor this challenge is Doodle Pantry.  Be sure to check out there shop to see their awesome Digi Stamps.

I created an anniversary card for my daughter and her husband; using Doodle Pantry Digi Love Birdies Color Plus.  They are so cute.  I love having the choice of using a colored version; whenever I have paper to match. Most of the time the color version is better than my coloring.  LOL.  I hope you enjoy this card.

Thank You Cards Using CTMH Florentine Paper and Cricut Artiste Cartridge

Hello.  It has finally cooled off in Southern California.  I hope everyone reading this post is having a fantastic day!!  It was 101 on Wednesday and now it is in the 60's.  I am so excited to have cooler weather.

I created a couple Thank You cards I wanted to share with you.  I decided to get my Cuttlebug out of the closet and do some embossing.  I bought a few new 5 x 7 embossing folders and was excited to try them out.  It had been a while since I had used my Cuttlebug when I started these two cards.  Before I was finished making these two; I used it on several other cards I was working on.  I forgot how pretty the cards look when using the embossing folders.  I used  CTMH Florentine Paper Packet for both cards.  This is one of my favorite paper packets.  I love how you can use the same paper packets and create very different cards.

I created a card using a new stamp set I purchased last month.  I love these little Quick card stamp sets from CTMH.  It is the "Quick card - Shell" and has an awesome sentiment on it.  It says - "May you find life in simple beauty in unexpected places."  So simple, yet profound!!  I used Glitz - Stardust on the shell.

I used the beautiful CTMH Florentine Paper Packet.  It is one of my favorites.  I love the colors and all the different patterns in one packet.  It also includes plain cardstock to match as well. Here is the close up view of the inside of this card.  I used CTMH "Card Chatter - Sympathy" stamp set; which includes several nice sentiments to encourage others.

Close up of left side of card - "Just a note to brighten your day.....

(Inside right) and chase the clouds away"  The flowers and hearts were also created using papers in the Florentine Paper Packet and cut with the Cricut Art Philosophy Cartridge.

I created this card using a Bugaboo Digi Stamp and CTMH Florentine Paper Packet following Mojo Monday 249 sketch. I am using this card as a Sympathy card; but it could be used for any kind of encouragement card.  I stamped two sentiments inside using CTMH "Card Chatter - Sympathy" and CTMH "4 My Friend" stamp set as well.  I like combining the stamp sets to give you several sentiments in one card.  I love all the digi stamps with our wonderful CTMH paper packets and combining them with our CTMH stamp sets as well.  They make a great combination.

Inside of Card - Using both CTMH "Card Chatter - Sympathy" and CTMH "4 My Friend" stamp sets
I used the Florentine Paper Packet and one of the strips found in the packet as well to create the inside of this card.  The paper is actually darker in spots where there is writing on it.  I used CTMH Olive ink for the sentiments.

I really enjoy following sketches and I love Mojo Monday.  I try to use their sketches as often as I can.  Drop over to their website and check out the beautiful creations by other crafters.  Make It Monday is another great challenge blog; which has a huge number of entries for you to view each week, as well.  All the challenge blogs are a great place to see awesome creations every week; so stop in and check them out.  See the list below and just click on the links.
