Hello All Occasion Card

Hello friends!  How is everyone doing?  It has finally cooled down for now in Southern CA.  It was over 110 for several days; but the high today says it was only 81.  Wow!  What a difference.  

I create cards for my sister, Alice, that she gives to her friends with her own poems that she creates.  I also create some of the same or similar cards for me.  I have lost track of which ones are her cards and which ones are mine; but I am trying to post some of them.  I love clean and simple cards.  I love to color with Copic markers; but I also enjoy not having to color at all.    

Instructions for how to create this card:  This is an easy A2 card; which is 4.25 x 5.50 in size.  The 3 pieces are approx. 1 inch for the 2 smaller pieces and 2 inch for the bigger one in the middle.  My border piece at the top is a little over 1 x 4 inches; but you could size it whatever you wanted.  Look for something to add where the heart is at the top.  I looked for sentiments I wanted to use and then found the oval die cuts to fit the sentiment.  You can use one die or layer them as I did.  I hope you enjoy my card and use this information to create your own cards.  My instruction videos are too long, due to my arthritis in my hands.  I prefer to create them and then show them.  Lol!

Happy Anniversary Card Using CTMH Products with Book Binding Technique

Hello friends!   How are you?  It has been a crazy busy time.  I have not been able to get time for me lately.  I thought retirement from a job would give me lots of time; but I seem to get busier as the years go by. Has anyone else experienced this in their life?  I hope you are doing well and enjoying your life.

I created this unusual fold card; which was a lot of fun.  Sometimes it is fun to just try something new.  I hope you enjoy it.  This card is called a "book cover" by some and other names with others.  The left side of the card is actually glued down; so the right side flap is all that opens.  I thought it was an interesting card.

Here is a video created by Lynn Dunn with Stampin' Up; using this Book Binding card technique.  I have seen other videos; but this is the one I used to create this card.  Just use the measurements and create your own cards the way you like them.

Today is the last day of the CTMH Double Sided Cardstock sale.  The cardstock cuts easily in any cutting machine.  I love it and think you will too.  CTMH is closing and consultant websites will be going away April 30, 2024.  If shopping for anything else, it is easier to look online and scroll through.  Some items show "Coming April" and others are retired; so you can easily see which items are still available.
