Birthday Card Using CTMH Sophia Paper and Cricut Art Philosophy Cartridge

DT Project for Digi Stamps 4 Joy  - Challenge 87 - A Birthday Sentiment

Hi all of you fabulous crafters/creators/readers!  I think it is warming up across the US.  I so hope everyone is having a great Spring.  We lost an hour today when we changed to Daylight Savings.  I have been stuck inside; due to an ongoing migraine.  Nothing seems to help it.  I took most of the day off the computer on Sunday; thinking maybe it would help; but finally gave up and decided to get my post ready for Tuesday night.

You have another week to enter Digi Stamps 4 Joy  - Challenge 87 - A Birthday Sentiment.    That should be an easy one for everyone.  I decided to use DS4J Mila Picking Lavender Coloured; which is just adorable.   These are shades of pink; in case the picture appears orange.  I took 300 pictures before I finally got it right on my Iphone.  I didn't realize I had taken that many until I downloaded all of them.  LOL!  I love anything pinks/purples. I try to use other colors too; but those will always remain my favorites.  

I am entering this card in the Path of Positivity Challenge - Thoughtfulness.  Be sure to check it out. Lisa has a fabulous blog and a great Design Team.  Their creations are so gorgeous!  One of the definitions on the Internet for "Thoughtfulness" - "Having or showing heed for the well-being or happiness of others and a propensity for anticipating their needs or wishes."  Isn't this one of the main reasons we create cards? We want to share our creativity and let others know we are thinking of them; whether it is a birthday, anniversary, holiday card or a Thinking Of You card.  I try to create cards that either fit the person's personality or ones that I know will bring them great joy!   My cards normally let me know who they are going to before I finish them; but this one I am not completely sure of yet.  I think it goes to one of my granddaughters; but we will see when the time is right to give it away.   I created it with a lot of love and thoughtfulness for just the right person to receive it when the time is right.

I sent my daughter and her family the Polar Bear Thinking of You Love card; my mother the blue Mother's Day card; (I didn't want to wait till Mother's Day.  I believe it can be given any day of the year.) and my sister, Alice the Thinking Of You card; which they all received and loved.  These cards made them feel very special; which they are very special to me.  They all live in MO; so I only see them once a year.  It is important that I let them know how much I love them as often as I can.  I do this with phone calls and creating cards they will love.

All Occasion Card Using CTMH Ivy Lane, CTMH Lollydoodle Papers and Cricut Art Philosophy

DT Project for The Squirrel and The Fox - Challenge 65 - Autumn or Spring

Hello fellow crafters and readers.  I know everyone is looking forward to Spring.  It has arrived here in Southern CA; so I hope it makes it to your area soon.  Wed. was a good day for me.  I was actually migraine free for a day; but I had pain in my neck, shoulders and joints.  I know a lot of people who deal with pain every day; and I really feel for them; because I understand how it is hard to get anything done when you don't feel good.  But on to happier things!

I have been reading so much about the Cricut Explore, watching the videos; and asking my husband what he thought of it; when he finally told me to "Just Buy It".  LOL!  So; I did.  I ordered it last night on HSN with several Anna Griffin specials included with it; before he could change his mind.  I am getting excited.  I didn't think I wanted it until I saw videos and heard from friends how awesome it was.  I am hoping it will teach me how to design something first and then put it together.  I normally create as I go; so I do not know if that will change or not.  It might just be my personal style; that can't be changed.  I do know that having a library of all the images I own at my fingertips; should make it easier to find things with the Cricut Explore.  I really don't know what images I have.

I am entering this card into the Path Of Positivity Challenge - Thoughtfulness.  Our lives are busier than ever and I think we all need to be reminded to take time to stop and smell the flowers. The sentiment inside is all about wishing someone a wonderful life of flowers and songbirds serenading them. I love flowers and I love listening to the birds sing. What a wonderful gift to have those two things in your life. And of course, the little mouse is just so cute with his bouquet of flowers. LOL! I loved the post that Pat wrote "Ponderings Along The Way" on March 7th and the fabulous article from the father to his daughter. Thinking of You Card Using Lacy Sunshine Eleanor - "Alice", CTMH Lucy Paper and Cricut Art Philosophy

Hi fellow crafters.  I hope everyone is having time to create.  I have been actually creating more cards this past week than I normally do.  I had a lot of end of the month challenges I needed to get created.  We have been getting the rain we need now in Southern CA.  I hope this doesn't mean more snow for other areas.

I created another Easel card to give to my sister Alice and her husband.  He will have to get use to the frilly, girly cards I send.  LOL!  I can't help myself.  I bought this one from Lacy Sunshine because her name was Alice.  It is Lacy Sunshine Eleanor - Alice.  I am sure it means Alice In Wonderland; but I had to buy it to create a card for my sister.  LOL!.  This one took me longer than normal; because it just didn't come together until I decided to add the butterflies.  I hope everyone isn't getting tired of all the butterflies I use.  I love them; and feel they really add a lot to the cards.

Thinking of You Card Using Imagine That "Polar Love" Digi and Cricut Art Philosophy
