Birthday Card Using CTMH Ivy Lane Paper and Cricut Artiste Cartridge

Hello friends, crafters and followers.  I heard again today that the north and northeast had more snow.  I can't believe how bad the weather has been for a lot of the US this year.  I feel guilty having such great weather in Southern CA.  I wish everyone could have our weather.  Wouldn't that be nice.

You have one more week to create something to enter Digi Stamps 4 Joy Challenge 90 - Easter or Spring.  That one should be an easy one for all of you.  I used the image DS4J Welcome Home for my card.  I loved this birdhouse and flowers the minute I saw it.  I cut a little bird from my Cricut Artiste Cartridge to sit on the limb; coming out of the birdhouse.   What good is a birdhouse without a bird?  LOL!

I used my favorite CTMH paper; which is Ivy Lane.  I have been stocking up on this one; so I will have plenty in the future.  LOL!  In the past; I would only buy one or two packs of the paper I really liked.   I finally realized they sell out sometimes; or I didn't get around to ordering them on time before the Idea book expires.   I order more and stock up now; so that doesn't happen to me.    I love the variety of papers in all of our paper packs.

Twisted Easel card.
The true colors are different shades of pink, green and deep purple.

Birthday Card With CTMH Surf's Up Paper Using Cricut AP, Artiste and Sophisticated Cartridges

DT Project For Tammy's Scrapin Corner Challenge #50 -  Sketch.

Hi fellow bloggers and creators!  I am happy to be here and to be able to create.  I don't know how I survived all these years without creating like I do now.  I wasn't aware of it and was busy working a lot.  I hope all of you are finding time to create as well.  It is very therapeutic for me.

Please join us for another great week at Tammy's Scrapin Corner Challenge 50 - Sketch.  Desire has created a wonderful sketch for us to use as a guide this week; which is shown below.   Our sponsor this week is SK Digis.  Be sure to visit them on the web to see all the adorable images they have available.  Check out the other members of the DT so you can see their interpretation of this wonderful sketch.

Our Guest Designer this week is Debora.  Click on her name to view her blog and her wonderful creations.  If you would like to be a Designer on Tammy's Scrapin Corner; just add GDT behind your name when you enter the challenge.  We would love to have anyone who is interested enter and a winner will be chosen each week.  Don't give up if you don't win the first time.  Keep trying.

I selected SK Digis "Teddy Bear With Turtle" for my twisted easel card this week.  I love this image and had to use it.  It was a challenge trying to find a shape I wanted to use for the center.  I wanted it to be different than my usual choice of backgrounds; which I think I achieved.  LOL!!  I finally found this backgroud piece on Cricut Sophisticated and decided to use it.  Any shape can be used as your center piece.  Just have fun with it.  Be creative!!

Valentine Card Using Delicious Doodles "Endless Love" And Cricut Art Philosophy

DT Project For Tammy's Scrapin Corner Challenge #48 Valentine Cards.

Hello everyone.  It is once again sunny in Southern CA.  I have been running around with my mom every other day; when she feels like it.  We are keeping busy with her Dr. appts.  I always have her seen by the Doctors in CA when she come to visit.  We also go out to eat and do a little sight seeing.   My mom is 79 yrs old and we have to use the wheelchair if we are going where she needs to walk for very long.

I went to the Scrapbooking Expo in Anaheim, CA on Friday and had a wonderful time there.  My husband was so sweet to drive me there and take care of my mom for 4 1/2 hrs while I shopped.  I rarely spend money; but they had some awesome deals that were hard to resist.

It is time for another great week at Tammy's Scrapin Corner for Challenge #48 - Valentine Cards.  I hope you will join us this week.  Our sponsors are QKR Stampede and Delicious Doodles.  Check out the awesome creations from the DT.  Our GDT this week is Rina Meyers. Her blog is  ScrapbookFashionista Designs.  If you would like to be a guest designer; please add GDT behind your name when you post your card.

I chose a Delicious Doodles image "Endless Love".  I fell in love with this image when I saw it.  I liked the image the way it was; so I chose not to color it and just changed the border color to a reddish color/hot pink.  It didn't turn out as great as I wanted; but it is still pretty.  I made another twisted easel card.  The tutorial for the twisted easel card can be found at Card Making Magic.  I hope you will try this one.
