DT Project for The Squirrel and The Fox - Challenge 72 - Christmas In July

Hello to everyone reading this.  I am so happy you joined me for another of my creations.  I hope everyone is enjoying their time outside this summer.  It is hot here in Southern CA; but I think it is going to get hotter over the next few days.  But - no complaints.  I love our weather here.

An update on my brother in law - Darrell.  He went home from the hospital today after 21 days there this time with his chemo and stem cell transplant.  He is improving each day; but it will take a while for his strength to return.  He was so happy to get out of that hospital bed.  Please continue to pray for him.  Thanks so much for all of your prayers.  He was in pretty bad shape when I asked for prayers on here; and I know that is what helped him through this.  We are very grateful for all of you.

It is time again for another challenge at The Squirrel and The Fox - Challenge 72 - Christmas In July.  I have another Christmas card created; so I am really getting them done ahead of time this year.  Yeah!  We would love for you to join us in the next two weeks with a Christmas creation of yours.  Get a head start on it!  You will be glad in December that you did.  LOL!

Birthday Card Using New CTMH Jubilee Paper and Cricut Art Philosophy Cartridge

DT Project for The Squirrel and The Fox - Challenge 64 - Something Spooled

Hi to all my friends in Blogland!  I hope everyone is doing well.  It seems time goes faster and faster every day.  I feel like there aren't enough hours in the day to do all the things I want and need to do.  LOL!  

It is time for another great challenge The Squirrel and The Fox - Challenge 64 - Something Spooled. Our sponsor this week is Make It Crafty.  Be sure to check out their wonderful Digi stamps.  I have chosen Make It Crafty Lilli Faye for my image this week.  I fell in love with this one as soon as I saw it.  

I had some challenges with my markers this week; so it isn't as good as I would have liked it to be. Also, the colors did not photograph well.  The yellow butterflies and the yellow behind the angel is actually very light and soft; but on here; it is darker and bolder.  I took it with my camera and my IPhone; but neither one captured the true color. The IPhone was a better picture; so that is what I used.  I tried numerous times to adjust it; but the blue looked washed out whenever I got the yellow the actual color.

Twisted Easel Birthday Card Using CTMH Balloon Ride Paper and Cricut Artiste Cartridge

DT Project For The Squirrel and The Fox - Challenge 62 - Use Embellishments

Hi to all my wonderful followers, fellow crafters and readers.  I hope everyone is having a good year so far in 2014.  I have heard it is colder and more snow than normal for a lot of the US.  Southern CA has been having very dry and unseasonal hot weather.  It has been in the 80's here.  We normally have at least fall temps and rain this time of year; but I think the global warming is affecting all of us; and not necessarily in a good way.

I am excited to share my first card for my DT position on The Squirrel and The Fox - Challenge 62 - Use Embellishments.  I am very excited to be a part of such a great team.  Many of their sponsors are new to me; so it is always exciting to find new digi companies and use their fabulous products. 

I am using a digi stamp from V's Sweet Ideas.  Be sure to visit her shop.  I used my gorgeous new CTMH Balloon Ride Paper Pack; available in our Spring/Summer Idea Book, Feb. 1st, 2014.  I love this paper pack!  I tried very hard not to cover anymore than I had to; so you could see it.  The inside is also another design in that paper pack.  Wait till you see all of our new items!  This is my favorite Idea Book so far; in the past two years.  Lots of new products.
