Vintage Birthday Card Using Cricut Art Philosophy Cartridge

Hello friends.  It is another fabulous day to be alive!  I hope everyone is doing well.  Keep watching for Spring.  I am sure it is just around the corner.  Try to stay rested and keep warm to keep those colds away.

I am excited to share the next Digi Stamps 4 Joy  - Challenge 88 - Vintage.  This is my first Vintage card; and I think it turned out pretty good.  I had a lot of fun creating this; but it did take me longer than most cards do.  There are so many options when creating cards; that I had more trouble choosing what to add to it.  The bow is actually a burgundy color that matches the paper; but it doesn't look that color in this picture.

I am entering this card in Path Of Positivity Challenge - Thoughtfulness challenge.  If you haven't checked this challenge out; be sure to take a look.  I created this card with love, positive energy and wanted it to mean a lot to the friend I am giving it to.  Wishing someone Happy Birthday and to have a grand year; is being thoughtful for that persons well being.  I love giving cards to family and friends.  It is my way of sending them love all year long.  What better way to cheer someone up then sending them a card to let them know you are thinking of them.

Birthday Card Using New CTMH Lollydoodle Paper and Cricut Art Philosophy

Hi everyone reading this in Blogland!  It is another beautiful day in Southern CA.  We had 92 on Friday.  I feel so bad for everyone having the bad weather.  It is hard to believe we have the worst weather on one coast and the best weather on the other.  It is a problem having 92 degrees without rain.  It means fires in CA; because of the drought problem.  I am praying for better weather for everyone coming soon.

I had to hurry to get this card created before the Lacy Sunshine challenge ends today.  I had two rough weeks.  One with computer problems and then this past week I wasn't feeling good and I had too much catching up to do from the down week.  I also seemed to have one issue after another to deal with this week; so didn't have much time to create.  I hope things get back to normal now.

I love Lacy Sunshine images.  I think these little girls are the cutest ever.  I have bought most of them; but now I try to create one every two weeks and enter it; so I get the next image free.  What a great way to build up your adorable Digi stamp collection.  This one is Lacy Sunshine's "Issybella Boo".  I love her!  I made a birthday card for Lana; one of my granddaughters.  I am trying to get a head start on my cards this year; so I won't be rushing to create them the week before they are due.

Friend Card Using CTMH Lucy Paper and Cricut Art Philosophy and Cricut Artiste Cartridges

Hello to all my wonderful Purpleglo Creations followers.  I have a fabulous card I created with a digi I received free from The Stamping Chef about a week ago.  If you participate in their Facebook Fan Page challenges; you can receive a free digi with each challenge as long as you create something for that challenge with it.  You should check it out.  They have wonderful Digis to purchase as well.  If you like this one; you can now purchase it. If you go to the Stamping Chef blog listed above; you can find their Facebook fan page. It is a closed group; so follow the link near the bottom of the page and hopefully there will be instructions on how to join.

This image is the "Lost Fairy".  I fell in love with it the minute I saw it and knew I had to create something with her.  I had a new CTMH "For A Friend" Stamp set I wanted to use; so I used it with this card.  You can find this Side Step Easel card tutorial on my Tutorial page.  The pink colors are very difficult to adequately show the true colors in these pictures; but hopefully you will get the idea.  The flowers are actually pink; although they look a different color.  I hope you enjoy this card as much as I did making it.  She is so beautiful!!

Friendship Card With CTMH Chantilly Using Cricut Artiste and Cricut Art Philosophy Cartridges

DT Project For Tammy's Scrapin Corner Challenge #49 - Handmade Embellishments.

Hello and happy February!!  I hope everyone is doing well and staying warm and healthy.  It has been cold again in Southern CA; but we are still luckier than other places.  My mom and I went to see a movie on Wednesday so she could have popcorn and we ate too much.  We both love popcorn and rarely have it; so we got the refillable size.  That was a big mistake.  It was fun and the movie was good.  There just aren't enough hours in the day to do all that I would like to do.  I guess I will never get enough of creating.  It is such a wonderful feeling to create something.

It is time for another great week at Tammy's Scrapin Corner Challenge #49 - Handmade Embellishments.  Our sponsor this week are Eureka Stamps.  Check out their wonderful selection of digi and rubber stamp sets.  Be sure to look at all of the DT creations.  They work hard every week to provide you with inspiration and a new challenge to help your creativity grow.

If you would like to be a Guest DT; place GDT behind your name when entering your creation.  We would love to see more GDT's.  Don't be shy.  It is a great way to expand your horizons and step out of your comfort zone.  If you aren't chosen for the top 3 or GDT this week; it could be next week. Don't give up.   Keep creating and you will get there. It takes practice, practice, practice.

I chose "Heart Flowers In A Frame" for my image from Eureka Stamps this week.  I also used two of their sentiments.  The one on the outside is "Golden Thread" and the inside is "Life Is A Journey".  All three of these digi stamps are available in Rubber stamps as well.  The top two corners were a take on a tutorial from Desire for flowers on Always Be Yourself.
