Fathers Day Card Using Anna Griffin Perfect Patterns For Him Card Base

Hello friends.  I hope everyone is staying cool.  It is very hot here in Southern CA.  I am staying inside as much as I can.  I am a little late in posting my Father's Day cards.  This is one of them.  My father passed away in 2009; so I continue to create for family and friends.  I created this one for my husband.   

 I like having simple easy to use quick cards for family and friends; when I am too busy to create a card.  I used my new Anna Griffin Perfect Patterns For Him card base.  I then added Anna Griffin Collage Toppers For Him.  I thought it needed something; so I added the bling from CTMH; which is retired now.  I used Anna Griffin Artfully Said Vellum stickers for the inside.  I really do like her sentiments.

Father's Day Card Using Cricut Art Philosophy, Cricut Artiste and Cricut Mickey and Friends

DT Project For Tammy's Scrapin Corner Challenge #66 - Anything Goes Manly Card/Father's Day
 
Hi to all my friends/fellow bloggers.  I missed a couple weeks of posting due to vacation.  We went to see my family in MO and spent some time at Branson as well.  We actually saw "The Texas Tenors" live in Branson.  They were originally on America's Got Talent and they are incredible singers.  We had our pictures taken with them and got their autographs.  We tried to see them two years ago; but they were on tour.  This time they were only there one night; so we took advantage of it.  We only had to move 4 times due to my allergy to perfumes/cologne/smells.  LOL!!  We were lucky it wasn't sold out.  Everyone loves to wear their perfumes/colognes when they go out; so I don't usually go anywhere like that.  My husband wanted to see them; so I decided to brave it and go with him.  It gets old telling him I can't go. 
 
While we were there; we helped my daughter move her household goods into storage.  Her closing on her new house was delayed until sometime in June; so they had to move in with her 89 yr. old grandmother.  Can you imagine?  4 kids, 3 dogs and a cat moved in with this sweet little lady.  She seems to be enjoying herself despite the chaos to her normal life. 
 
It is nice to be back.  I missed my blogging/crafting and all of your wonderful comments.  I am back in time to make my husband a Father's Day Card.  It is so hard to go that long without crafting.

Art Philosophy Cricut Cartridge Blog Hop - Father's Day Card


Hello to all you bloggers! I hope you are having a fantastic day!! Welcome to the Art Philosophy Cricut Cartridge Blog Hop. I used a card base created from the AP Cricut Cartridge.  This cartridge has 100 card bases with a total of 700 images including beautiful 3D flowers.  This is the most versatile cartridge I have ever seen and it is so much fun to create with it. 
  
I used the Dotty For You paper packet as it has a lot of variety and choices for both men and women. This paper is only available through May 31, 2012. You can purchase it for $5 with a $35 purchase. Make your selection for the $35 first and the specials will display below your order. Be sure and click on "add to cart". The May stamp of the month is available with a $50 purchase; so you can get both with a $50 purchase.

The sentiment is from "1000 Card Quotes"; which has a variety of choices when you don't have a stamp with the correct sentiment.  I don't have a stamp with Father's Day on it as my father is no longer living.  I created this for my husband.

The second part of the sentiment was created on my computer and printed on card stock from "The Paper Company" because I wanted a textured paper for this one.
