Christmas Card Using Cricut Artiste, Cricut Artbooking and Cricut Art Philosophy Cartridges

Hi all you beautiful readers out there!  I hope everyone is doing well.  I don't know if you have heard about the new Cricut Explore; but I love it.  I haven't had much time to play with it; but when I have; it cuts fabulously.  I had problems on my Cricut Expression; with some of my paper tearing on the really intricate designs; and this Cricut Explore cuts it like butter.  It is so smooth.  I tried it one time to write on a card; and it does such a wonderful job.  I am not selling them or working for the company.  I wanted to share this with you if you haven't had time to check it out yet.

In the beginning; I was totally against buying something I had to use with a computer; but a lot of my friends bought it and they couldn't stop raving about it.  I finally decided to watch the videos and I fell in love again!  LOL!

My Top 5 reasons for buying a Cricut Explore:
1.  It saves time in designing your card first;before cutting a hundred pieces to see what works.
2.  It keeps all your images in one place for all the Cricut cartridges that you own; making it easier to        see what you have available. (I found ones I swear I have never seen before.  LOL!)
3.  You can write and cut without changing the blade.
4.  You can add images from multiple cartridges all on one mat; and you don't have to change the            cartridge each time you want to switch between cartridges.
5.  Dial for paper/material choices.  No trying to figure out what pressure and speed you want to cut        those intricate cuts.

My top two pieces of equipment I feel every crafter should have are:
1.  Cricut Explore
2.  EBosser (It cuts and embosses all in one machine - electric)

My top 3 Cricut Cartridges that I think everyone should own are:
1.  Cricut Art Philosophy
2.  Cricut Artiste
3.  Cricut Artbooking; in that order.

I joined CTMH because of the fabulous Cricut Art Philosophy Collection; and have never regretted it!  With 700 images on this cartridge; you get more for your money than any other cartridge out there.  It you had to pay the .99 for each image charged by Cricut; that would be $700 for each one of the CTMH cartridges.  LOL!

For the month of April 2014 only: you can join my CTMH team for only $99 (Kit retail - $309) and receive a FREE Cricut Collection of your choice.  Choose between the Cricut Art Philosophy, Cricut Artiste and Cricut Artbooking - retail $99.  See tabs above to review each of these Cricut cartridges.
You are paying $99 for approx. $408 retail value!  How much better can it get. I am available to work with you one on one for training; if you want it; or choose many training classes online to fit your own schedule.  See tab for more information on joining my CTMH team at http://purpleglocreations.blogspot.com/p/join-fun.html

I have created another Christmas card for Digi Stamps 4 Joy 2014 Christmas Challenge.  Check it out.  When you use their FREE image; enter your creation in their challenge; you receive the next month FREE image.  Isn't that fabulous!  The Digital image for March is the collage of words on the right of this card.  I printed it on one of the paper pack included with CTMH Pear & Partridge Paper Pack (retired).

Christmas Card Using DS4J Dragon and Cricut Art Philosophy Cartridge

Hello friends.   I hope this finds all of you well.  I know most of you are looking forward to Spring.  It is supposed to rain for several days and break all records from the past.  I hope it does rain; as CA really needs the rain.

I finished my Christmas card for Digi Stamps 4 Joy 2014 Christmas Challenge.   Each month if you create a card using the free Digi; you get the next month's Digi free.  It is a fabulous way to stay ahead and have your Christmas cards created before you need them.  This was my second one for the year; and I am very excited to be disciplined to get them done - one at a time during the year; rather than frantically creating them at the last minute.  Check it out.  This month was this adorable little Dragon.

I used the sketch from Jo's Scrap Shack; which I think turned out very well.  I changed it a little bit; using two different papers; rather than just one; moved my sentiment to the bottom and used a border rather than ribbon.  I hope you enjoy this little Dragon.  I love this Digi; and can't wait to give it away to someone at Christmas.  LOL!  Until then; I get to enjoy it myself.

Christmas Card Using Digistamps4joy Free Digi and Cricut Art Philosophy

Hello to all of you fabulous crafters/readers in Blogland!  It has been warm and windy here in Southern CA; very dry with several fires in the Southern CA area.  I always hate to hear about the fires starting.  I have difficult breathing even inside our house when the fires come.  Luckily; they are not near us at this time.  We really need rain.  Normally, this is the time of year that we receive rain.  We are having a very unusual winter this year; very warm and very dry.

I am excited to share with you a card I created using a FREE digi for the "2014 Christmas Challenge at Digistamps4joy"; where you can receive a FREE Christmas digi each month; when you enter the Christmas monthly challenge.  Be sure to click on the link above and check it out.  You will need to follow the instructions to get your free Christmas digi stamp.  You  have until Jan. 31st to enter; so get started and have fun creating.  I am taking advantage of it; because I want to get my Christmas cards finished earlier this year.  LOL!

Plus - I can continue using my Christmas dividers on my blog whenever I create a Christmas card.  I love all those flashing lights!  LOL!

I used a sketch from Sunday Sketch and Stamp.  I also used the Mojo Monday Sketch 328; which is very similar to the first sketch.  See below card for the sketches.
