Friends! I hope all of you are staying
healthy, wearing your masks and surviving this world crisis. It is very stressful for all of us. I know there are many countries shutting
things down again; due to the huge increase of cases. I am so very sorry for everyone that is going
through this stuff. My thoughts and
prayers are with all of us; as we walk this path of the unknown.
I gave my
daughter and her two of her kids CTMH Christmas Shaker Ornaments last year and they loved them. I decided to challenge myself and create Christmas
Ornaments from scratch, no kits. My daughter's family love Gnomes and I had to have very
small ones to use on my ornaments; so the easiest way to make these, was to use
digital stamps. It was a big challenge to color them; but I managed to do
the best that I could. I had a lot of challenges with cutting the acetate alternative so I had to do it by hand.
I
love how they turned out. I used two tag dies from CTMH that have
retired. They were the perfect size for
my Christmas Shaker Ornaments. If I had
the energy, I would create more for myself and other family members; but I am
not sure I am up to it. Thanks so much to Nelida Cordon, Conie Fong DT, as she was my inspiration to create these. She created 3 ornaments with the Gnomes and posted them on Conie Fong Facebook Group in the November Monthly Challenge.
The ornaments are around 4 inches tall from top to bottom. The Gnomes are 2.5 inches up to 2.75 inches. Very tiny. LOL! I would never dare color a lady image that small.
