Hello all you wonderful bloggers! I have been working on a couple cards for the Art Philosophy Blog Hop that is scheduled for Saturday, April 28 at 10 a.m. I hope you stop by and check out all the wonderful creations we will be sharing to give you more ideas of things to create with your CTMH Art Philosophy Cricut Cartridge (AP cart). I love getting ideas from other people and it is so much fun to see the wonderful things that can be created with this fantastic cartridge. I am always amazed at the creations other bloggers design with this cartridge.
This AP cart is the reason I am now a Close To My Heart Independent Consultant. I fell in love with the stamps and the company and decided to join to spread the word about this great cartridge; with 700 images to create so many wonderful items.
If you don't have a Cricut; then you will want to purchase one sometime in the future. Several people suggested I buy one when I was out shopping for my stash. They stated it would change my scrapbooking and card making for the better. I wasn't convinced until I googled Cricut and saw all the You Tube videos available. I began watching the tutorials on how to use the Cricut. I fell in love with what it could do. I got my Cricut Expression after Christmas and it was the best investment I have made towards my scrapbooking and card making. CTMH was the next best investment I made with all the free high quality products, the free training and discounts from becoming a CTMH Independent Consultant.
I created an Anniversary card using my AP cart. I didn't realize there were so many cards on this cartridge. I love the different shaped cards you can create with this cartridge.
I was excited to use my new products from Tombowusa.com. I have always used their "Mono adhesive permanent" because it works the best and easiest for me and it has refills. I was happy to see Tombow has a small handheld "Stamp Runner Permanent Adhesive" which actually stamps in one spot or can be used as a tape runner. I love this product. It is so easy to use and so convenient having both in one handheld device.
I also used their "Mono Glue pen" which looks like an ink pen. I can't believe there is no stickiness, no mess and can be used for gluing the little tiny layers like I used on this card. I used their "3D Foam Tabs" for my flowers and the top two layers with the sentiment. They are really great!! It was my first time to try them as well. I was impressed and will continue using all of these great products.

Dimensions of layers for this card:
Outside: Card cut at 6 1/2 - pg 62 of AP cartridge handbook
4 1/4 - first layer- pg 62
4 - 2nd layer- pg 62
2 1/4 - 3rd layer- pg 62
2 - 4th layer for the sentiment
Flowers: Size 3/4 - pg 50 of same cartridge
Inside: 3 3/4, 3 1/2 ad 3 1/4 for the sentiment
Inside of card:
The inside quotes came from CD 1000 card quotes from Hot Off The Press: which I love. It includes a large variety of quotes for all occasions. I wish I could change the color of the font instead of having everything in black.
Closer views of inside:
I tried to do a closer view so you could see the quotes inside. They are decorative and nicely done - just all in a faded black color. I didn't add bling on the inside flowers because they don't stay well and the card is already thick for mailing.
Supplies I used for this card:
Die-Cuts: Cricut using CTMH Art Philosophy Cricut Cartridge for card base and all the pieces on outside and inside of card.
Cardstock: Recollections (purchased at Michael's)
Paper Stripes: DCWV Spring Fling & Summer Days Combo Stack
Stamp for sentiment: CTMH Card Word Puzzle - C1494 - pg 23 Spring/Summer 2012 Idea Book
Sentiment inside: CD 1000 card quotes from Hot Off The Press
Ink: VersaMark
Embossing Powder: Recollections - hot pink (purchased at Michael's)
Foam Tabs: Tombow USA 3D Foam Tabs
