Friendship Card Using CTMH Heartstrings paper with Cricut Artiste and Artbooking Cartridges

Hello friends.  I hope everyone had a fabulous Thanksgiving.  I ate too much; but it is hard not to on Thanksgiving.  I actually had time to finish a card that I started several days ago. I was supposed to be taking a break from card creating; but I needed to use at least one of the many Art By Miran digis I purchased; since I purchased even more in the past couple days. They are having a fabulous sale of 25% off through December 15th.  I love her digis and rubber stamps!  I just found out Mi Ran also creates for Whimsy Stamps; so you can buy her rubber stamps through Whimsy Stamps.  I just bought my first two Artbymiran rubber stamps this week.

I am very excited to finally use one of my Artbymiran stamps.  I printed and die cut this digi a few months ago.  LOL!  I am a little slow to get things created sometimes.  We have had a lot of company in Sept, Oct and November.  I used the new CTMH Heartstrings paper pack; which can be used for all occasions. CTMH has a new Seasonal Expressions 1 (Idea book) coming out December 1st; so I had to use some of this fabulous new paper.  Lots of wonderful new products.   Here is the link to the PDF for this new Seasonal Expressions 1 idea book.

My New Cricut Artfully Sent Creating Cards Part 1 Video

I love this new cartridge! I am sold on all of the Close To My Heart Cartridges.  This newest one is a card lovers dream.  If you have the Cricut Explore; I think it is even more fun; once you figure out how to work with it.  All the cards are in one piece.  You need to resize the entire card; change colors of the pieces by ungrouping; if you want to change them; or just click Go and figure out the colors as you change the mats.  So easy!   My Cricut Explore was a fabulous investment for me.  It has saved me so much time; and advanced my creativity to a new level.  I still like to add things to the cards sometimes; and I love changing the inside of the card to the one that I want.  

Use the square or rectangle from either the Cricut Art Philosophy or Cricut Artiste cartridge for the inside piece and add whatever you want to it.  The Art Philosophy square and rectangle have rounded corner and the Artiste has square corners.  You can also mix and match the inside pieces from other cards on this cartridge.  You just have to ungroup and click on them to hide the pieces you don't need or don't want to cut.  You can write words or cut words; depending on your preference.
