Mother's Day Card using CTMH Dotty For You Paper Packet and Cricut Art Philosophy Cartridge

Welcome to all the creative bloggers and readers out there.  It has been another wonderful day in Sunny CA.  I am happy to be here to share my latest creation with you.

I am so excited to be entering this card in the BBTB2 Design Team Call.  It is the Cricut Challenge Blog.  I would love to be part of their team.  I absolutely love my Cricut Expression and use it almost everyday.  I can't wait to see who they choose for these positions.

I am also excited because I was able to create 3D flowers from my CTMH Art Philosophy Cricut Cartridge for the first time.  I am sure I will improve even more with time.  I thought it would be hard; but it was easy.  I watched a really great video from Mandy Leahy on You Tube.  She made it so easy to follow her directions.

I used the CTMH "Dotty For You" paper packet and stamp set was from CTMH Pemberley Workshop.  All my shapes were made with the CHMH Art Philosophy Cricut Cartrige.  I find this is my most used Cricut cartridge right now and I am loving all the wonderful things you can do with the 700 images; which includes these cute flowers.  You can cut the flowers any size you want; but I used 3 1/2 in. so they wouldn't cover too many of the flowers on the paper I was using.

Double click on the pictures for a closer view.

I love the New CTMH Dotty For You Paper. There are 2 each of 12 different patterns on one side and polka dots of different colors on the opposite side; which is the same weight as CTMH cardstock. They are only available from April 17 - May 31st; so you need to buy them now if you want them.  Order CTMH products here.

I am using two sketches plus the challenges listed below.  The first one is from 365 Cards - Day 46 - Super Sketchy Sunday shown below.

The second sketch is Fetch a Sketch - Challenge 22.  I used this; but moved the circles.  Not sure if that is acceptable.  I am new to following sketches; so I apologize if that isn't allowed.

I can't wait to give this to my Mother when I visit her in May.  I am sure she will love it.  I think I am getting better with my card making.  I love visiting fellow bloggers.  There are some awesome cards out there; so don't forget to check them out.

Please don't forget to comment when you come to mine or anyone else's blog that you visit.  It means so much to us to hear from you.  I try to comment on at least 3 different cards when I enter a challenge.  I think we all need to support each other.  Isn't that why we are posting our own work?  We want to help motivate someone else to create and to support the people who share their own creations.

Please take the time to comment on other people's creations!!  It will make their day and yours!!
Happy Creating!!  I love everyone who makes the effort to create and those who share their creations!
