Thinking Of You - Double Dutch Fold Card with Video Link

Hello friends!  How is everyone?  It has been a crazy mixed blend of weather here in Southern CA.  Cold one day, hot the next, raining the next; so nothing stays the same for long here.  If you stick around long enough; you will have the weather you want.  LOL!

I have been trying to create unusual folds/cards that I find on the Internet and on YouTube.  I thought it might be fun to try something different.  I made a video for this one as well.  It is a Double Dutch Fold Card; which I have never seen before. I watched a video created by Sam at https://mixedupcraft.com/2018/10/24/double-dutch-fold-card/.

It was a lot of fun to create.  I made a Thinking of You card first; which is this one and then my next one is a Wedding card using the same card type.  I will probably make a few more with this same concept.  It's easy once you get the measurements down correctly.

Calendar Card Using CTMH Chelsea Gardens Paper, with Stamp and Dies

Hello friends!   It has cooled down here to the 60's; which is cold for Southern CA.  I like the cooler temperatures; spring like weather; but not the cold weather many of you are having across the US.

I had created my sister, Alice a calendar card; then realized I couldn't give it away.  I needed to keep it for me.  LOL!  I gave her other options; so this is the calendar card that I have created for her now.  She was just as excited to get this one; as it takes up less space; which is what she needed to be able to display it for the year. 

I have created several of these calendar cards; and probably have a few more to create.  LOL!  I found the general instructions from a Tutorial at Splitcoast Stampers; after I had already bought some little calendars from Ebay.  This tutorial provides you a link for a free calendar that you can print and cut yourself.  I used the calendar on five calendar cards that were white backgrounds so far.  Everyone has loved them.
