Fun Fold Card Using CTMH Zoe Paper Pack

Hello friends! I sure hope everyone is doing well and that your weather has warmed up.  Southern CA has been heating up the past few days again; and other areas are getting snow storms.  Isn't this weather crazy?

My husband took me to Antelope Valley California Poppy Reserve in Lancaster, CA on Friday and again on Wednesday; and it was so gorgeous.  There are lots of trails to walk between all the fields of CA poppies.  It was so worth the trip.

The wind was very strong; and colder than we would have liked on Friday; but it was a perfect day on Wednesday, warmer; but still windy.  We didn't dress appropriately for Friday; but I did for Wednesday.  Other than that it was fabulous.  We then went to Victorville, CA to Cracker Barrel (restaurant I grew up with in MO) and we had a great fried cat fish meal.  My favorite meal ever!  We ate there twice on Wednesday.  LOL!  I told my husband that they were the best dates I had had in a very long time.  LOL! 

I created another of these Fun Fold Cards for another friend of mine.  I wanted to use the CTMH Zoe paper pack; but apparently it is a paper that is not photogenic.  It is a gorgeous paper pack in person; but my photo's did not turn out the way I wanted them to.  They look much better in person.

The yellow is actually a darker color on the outside and a lighter color on the inside; like the 2nd photo.  The blue is also darker on outside and lighter inside.  (All CTMH cardstock is double sided with two different colors.)

The Colors are more pastel using the doily reverse side of Smoothie; so like a darker peach color.  The blue is a little darker on the outside and lighter on inside; and it is gorgeous.  See 3rd picture for more accurate colors.

Friend/Thank You Card Using CTMH Budding Peony Stamp set

Hello friends!  I hope everyone is doing well.  It has been very windy and warm here the past few days.  At least the rain seems to have stopped for now.  

Here is another card I created during the night when I was supposed to be sleeping.  I found this posted somewhere on Pinterest I think.  This version was created by Gaynor Boyce.  Click on her name to pull up her blog post and the link for her video.  

I used different measurements than Gaynor did; as I wanted it to fit in a A2 sized envelope.  I also wanted it to stand up; so I added the card to a regular A2 sized card base.  You have to open it further or it falls over from the weight of the front.  I also added an extra layer of the black cardstock to the back of the card; trying to give it more support.  LOL!  I thought I could write a note in that section.  See photos below of what I have created.
