DT Project for The Squirrel and The Fox - Challenge 71 - Use Something Metal

Hi all of blogland!  I hope you are doing well and enjoying the spring weather; for those in US.  I heard it is snowing in Africa; but I hope you can still get time to enjoy yourselves; maybe just indoors.  

Please continue to pray for my brother in law Darrell.  He started high dose chemo on June 6th; which he had for 3 days.  Then, his stem cell transplant was on June 11th.  It really is hard on a person's body to go through this; and this is his second time; with just 10 days between rounds.  Also; please pray for my sister Becky; as this is very difficult for her.  She is at his bedside all the time; and trying to work on her computer to get her 40 hrs. a week in for her job.  Thanks so much for your prayers in the past.  You are all appreciated so much.

I am entering this card in the Path Of Positivity Challenge - Happiness.  This image makes me smile. I believe taking time to smell the flowers and watching a butterfly, is a sheer sign of happiness.  I love watching butterflies; and I create a lot of cards using them.  They make me happy just adding them to my cards.  I hope the person receiving one of my cards will feel "Happiness" when they see them. Spending time to create someone a card brings me happiness.  Just the act of giving to another person; normally brings "Happiness" to the person giving as well as the person receiving.   One of the things I have always been told; is that if you feel down; do something for another person; and that will uplift you.  It certainly does for me.

Congratulations Card Using CTMH Balloon Ride Paper and Cricut Art Philosophy Cartridge (Sneak Preview of CTMH New Items)

Hello fellow crafters/followers.  I have been having a great time creating right now.  I guess my Creating Mojo is back.  LOL!  I realized while coloring this image; that sometimes when you try to learn how to do something the correct way; it actually makes you worse for a while before you get it right.  I am trying to learn to color hair; and I know the hair on this image isn't as good as my previous ones.  I will just keep practicing and someday I will get it right.  LOL!  So; please bare with me until I learn to do it correctly.

I created this card for one of my granddaughter's; who is graduating from high school in May.  I used the fabulous Lacy Sunshine Jewel Junebug Buggmee Digi image; for their Bingo Challenge.  Lacy Sunshine Challenge Blog has a challenge every two weeks; and if you use one of their images; you get the next one free.  So buy the first one and you will get a free one when you enter every two weeks. You have to follow the instructions to get your free one after each challenge.  I own most of theirs; but I love them so much I had to purchase a lot of them.  The colors in the picture on the inside are not true colors; but the front picture is true to colors.

DT Project For The Squirrel and The Fox - Challenge 62 - Use Embellishments

Hi to all my wonderful followers, fellow crafters and readers.  I hope everyone is having a good year so far in 2014.  I have heard it is colder and more snow than normal for a lot of the US.  Southern CA has been having very dry and unseasonal hot weather.  It has been in the 80's here.  We normally have at least fall temps and rain this time of year; but I think the global warming is affecting all of us; and not necessarily in a good way.

I am excited to share my first card for my DT position on The Squirrel and The Fox - Challenge 62 - Use Embellishments.  I am very excited to be a part of such a great team.  Many of their sponsors are new to me; so it is always exciting to find new digi companies and use their fabulous products. 

I am using a digi stamp from V's Sweet Ideas.  Be sure to visit her shop.  I used my gorgeous new CTMH Balloon Ride Paper Pack; available in our Spring/Summer Idea Book, Feb. 1st, 2014.  I love this paper pack!  I tried very hard not to cover anymore than I had to; so you could see it.  The inside is also another design in that paper pack.  Wait till you see all of our new items!  This is my favorite Idea Book so far; in the past two years.  Lots of new products.
