Birthday Card for Male Using CTMH Jackson Paper, Cricut Artiste and Aurora Wings Puppy In A Boot Digi

Hello friends.  I hope all of you are doing well.  I have started to feel better the past few days. I finally figured out that the bone broth I was eating; which is supposed to be healthy for you; was actually making me sicker.  Once I stopped that; I felt better.  I am finding out that things that are healthy for other people don't necessarily work for me.  I guess that is why we are supposed to listen to our own body and to our intuition; rather than to someone else.

I have been having fun creating cards the past few days.  I am excited to finally feel good enough to create this adorable card using Aurora Wings Puppy In a Boot.  I love this sweetie; and have been wanting to create with it for quite a while now.  I couldn't decide what to do with it; so I finally made it a Birthday card for a male.  I don't seem to have enough cards for boys; although it can still be used for a girl as well.  Check out the fabulous digis at Aurora Wings.  This one is not available in the shop; as it was a freebie in Sept. 2014, I think.  

I wanted to use my new CTMH Jackson paper; which is available April 1st; in the new Expressions 2 Idea Book.  There are two new ones; and I love both of them.  I loved this barn red and chocolate pattern on this paper; as well as the pretty banner paper with several colors in it.  I hope you enjoy this card.

Birthday Side Step Card Using CTMH Dream Pop Paper and Cricut Artiste Cartridge

Hi all my fellow crafters and readers!  I hope this finds everyone well.  We have been having hot weather in Southern CA with temperatures one day of 103 degrees.  I wasn't ready for summer yet; but maybe it will cool down before it really decides to stay hot.  It cooled down for a few days now; but warming back up again.

This was a fun challenge for me.  I decided to use one of the Digi stamps I own that are already colored.  I used Whoopsi Daisy Sheet Number 413 to create a birthday card for my oldest granddaughter, Vicki,  who is turning 21 yrs. old.  I thought of using a Digi of an adult; but I think these little girls are so cute for any age birthday.  This one was pink and girly; so I think she will like it.  I got carried away with all the sentiments; but the 21st birthday is such a special birthday that I couldn't choose just one.  LOL.

Hello everyone.  I hope you are having a fabulous day.  It is sunny and cooler in Southern CA right now; which is more like the Spring weather you would expect this time of the year.  I am so sorry to hear about the tornado that struck Texas and the loss that they suffered.  I grew up with Tornado's in MO and it is a frightening experience.  My heart goes out to those who have lost loved ones or their homes in this devastation.  I wish them love and peace in this time of need.
 
It makes me even more grateful for my home, family and friends.  I feel very blessed in my life.  I think that is one of the reasons I love creating so much.  I feel I am creating something from love for everyone I send my cards to and for the scrapbooks I create for my family as well.  It is a part of me I am giving them.
