Birthday Card for Male Using CTMH Jackson Paper, Cricut Artiste and Aurora Wings Puppy In A Boot Digi

Hello friends.  I hope all of you are doing well.  I have started to feel better the past few days. I finally figured out that the bone broth I was eating; which is supposed to be healthy for you; was actually making me sicker.  Once I stopped that; I felt better.  I am finding out that things that are healthy for other people don't necessarily work for me.  I guess that is why we are supposed to listen to our own body and to our intuition; rather than to someone else.

I have been having fun creating cards the past few days.  I am excited to finally feel good enough to create this adorable card using Aurora Wings Puppy In a Boot.  I love this sweetie; and have been wanting to create with it for quite a while now.  I couldn't decide what to do with it; so I finally made it a Birthday card for a male.  I don't seem to have enough cards for boys; although it can still be used for a girl as well.  Check out the fabulous digis at Aurora Wings.  This one is not available in the shop; as it was a freebie in Sept. 2014, I think.  

I wanted to use my new CTMH Jackson paper; which is available April 1st; in the new Expressions 2 Idea Book.  There are two new ones; and I love both of them.  I loved this barn red and chocolate pattern on this paper; as well as the pretty banner paper with several colors in it.  I hope you enjoy this card.

Just Because Criss Cross Card Using Art By Miran Fairy Lily

GDT for Artbymiran Showcase Blog - Using Artbymiran Fairy Lily

Hello friends.  I am very excited to be chosen as a GDT for Art By Miran Showcase blog; for the month of January.  It is such a pleasure to use Art By Miran images.  She is so talented and her images bring lots of joy to those who use them; as well as those who receive them.   I used the gorgeous Artbymiran Fairy Lily.  I decided to try a card base that I have never used before; so here it is.

This is my first Criss Cross card and it was really fun to create.  I used 2 - 6 x 12 cardstock for the two layers; but you can make it with other sizes as well.  Click here for Criss Cross tutorial that I just found for you; using the same size card I used.  Click here for a smaller version of this card created by Splitcoaststampers.   

My pictures didn't take as well as I would have liked. The purples and lavender colors are gorgeous in person; but they aren't as vibrant in the pictures.  I did use both my camera as well as my Iphone; but neither one captures the perfect colors.  The blond is actually a lot lighter and less bold in person.  LOL!  Oh well; we do the best we can.  I hope you enjoy my card.

Encouragement Card Using CTMH Brushed Paper and Cricut Art Philosophy Cartridge

Digi Stamps 4 Joy New Release

Hello friends.  I hope everyone is doing well.  It rained for almost a week; but I  think it  may be over now.  We either have no rain or lots of rain, causing flooding and land slides.  

My mother has been in the hospital in MO for a week with her heart, Cellulitis and other health problems.  My sister Becky stayed over from Thanksgiving to help my other sister Alice in staying with her; but Becky had to go back to work.  I hope and pray she gets better soon.   I can't make a trip there right now due to my own health; so I feel really sad about all of this.  I have been on the phone a lot this past week; talking to mom's nurses, my sisters and the Dr. It is so hard not being there; but I have to trust that she will get well soon.  

It is time for another new release of digis at DS4J.  I chose to merge a previous release "DS4J First Snow Dawn (Pre-colored by Jen) with one of the new releases "DS4J Storm Lantern".  I love both of these and thought they went very well together.
