Thank You Card Using Ching-Chou Kuik "New Leaves"

Hello friends.  How is everyone?  It has cooled down in Southern CA; which I am so grateful.  I love the Spring and Fall.  I do not like the hot weather; which we have had a lot of this year.  

We were on vacation in Florida for the last two weeks of October, visiting with family.  It was a lot cooler there than I expected; but not really cold.  I was grateful that we didn't have any storms or hurricanes while were there.  We were staying at Destin, FL on the beach; so we would have been sitting ducks with water surrounding us.  My phone didn't want to work while we were there; which I think was due to all the water around us.  

It is good to be back home and I am more than ready to create with Ching-Chou Kuik images.  I took the month of October off; except for posting a few of the creations I had already finished before I took time off.  I really needed the break; more for my mental health than anything else.  I needed some down time from creating every week.

I have created a card with a Winter scene for our Ching-Chou Kuik November Monthly Blog challenge.  We would love for you to join us.  You have an option of Christmas or Winter.  I have been wanting to use this digi for a long time.  It is Ching-Chou Kuik "New Leaves".  It looks like winter to me; right before Spring starts.

Birthday Card Using Art by Miran Bubbles Brea for Progressive Challenge

Hello friends.  I hope everyone is having a fabulous summer or whatever season you are in where you live.  I just saw the pictures of Springfield, MO and all the flooding there; which is worse than I have ever seen it.  I use to live there and most of my family lives near there.  I feel so bad for those people when I see that kind of situation.  

I created another birthday card using Art by Miran Bubbles Brea for the June Progressive challenge found on their Facebook group.  It is a fabulous group and you  need to request to join.  They have a lot of fun challenges there.  The Progressive Challenge is one that you can join anytime.  The first part is Anything Goes and the second part is with a free digi they have chosen.  It is a wonderful way to increase your digi collection with some gorgeous digis. This digi would have been a free one; but I wasn't able to enter the first part; so I bought it after vacation at a reduced rate.  I think my creative mojo is still off; because this one took me several days to create.  I hope you enjoy it.

I am entering this card in Path of Positivity Happiness Challenge; which makes my third entry.  It has been a while since I entered anything in that challenge.  Lisa has a fabulous team and I love her positivity and all of her wonderful challenges.  Happiness can be anything that makes you happy; and the great thing about it is; that you don't have to justify it to anyone.  I love blowing bubbles; which I haven't done for a while.  My granddaughter, Lana, asked if I had some when they were here visiting; but I couldn't remember where I put them.  I am going to have to look; because they make me smile and I feel happy when I am blowing bubbles.  I don't even know why.  LOL!
