Hello friends! It is another hot day in Southern CA. I am trying to stay cool inside; but having issues with my eyes that feel like it could be allergies. It is frustrating when you can't see and your eyes hurt and itch all the time. I hope you are doing well.
I created two cards using CTMH July SOTM The Bee's Knees S2307. I really like this stamp set and enjoyed creating with it. I do not like bees; but I think they are probably safe on my cards. This one is covered with flowers; so it has to be a good bee, right? LOL! I used our new CTMH Mix In Jul/Aug papers X9050; which I also love.
Thank you visiting my blog. I hope you enjoy my creations. I appreciate all of you. Be sure to check out my tabs at the top of the page for my videos, tutorials, clubs, specials and more. Call, text, Facebook message or email me with any questions you might have.
Click here for my new CTMH Videos. I added CTMH Workspace Wonder products to my desk a few years ago; and I was not able to use my video recorder on my desk after I did that. It took me a long time to finally come up with a way to do videos with that same recorder; but on a different arm/holder. Thanks for your patience.
Hello friends. Have you done anything fun this summer? I guess it could be Winter where some of you live. It was 98 degrees again today. So hot for Southern CA. I haven't done anything exciting; as it is just too hot.
It is my turn for another Inspiration Post for Ching-Chou Kuik. I have wanted to create a book shaped card for years; as I am a book lover. CTMH has a new Cricut You Are Here Cartridge that just came out August 1st; which has all of these die cuts; including the book die cut. The only thing on this card that isn't from that cartridge; of course, is the sweet Ching-Chou Kuik "Lil Bookworm Fairy".
This is the smallest image I have ever colored. I had to make the card 8 inches long; so that I could add this sweet image. I had to reduce the image to 2.25 inches, so that it would fit on the book page of the card. In case you can't read it: it says Travel The World (inside the globe) and This Way To Fun below that. I love that books can take you anywhere you want to go and they are so much fun! The book die is a bright pink; in case you can't tell. LOL!
I created this card for my granddaughter, Abigail; who will be 18 yrs old in August, a junior in high school. She is a writer and has written 3 books so far. She has started her 3rd book of one trilogy and writing a 2nd book for the other trilogy. She is a fabulous writer and we are hoping to get her published. I love all 3 of her books and can't wait to read the new ones. I am so very proud of her. She is an amazing young lady. I hope this will encourage her to continue her love of writing; which I never did.
