Hello
Friends! How is everyone? I hope you are able to spend time with
family who lives with you; but staying safe from this horrible COVID-19.
It is really doing a number on California. We are losing one person every
6 minutes to death from it here in Los Angeles County. It is so
sad. Over 400,000 people have lost their lives in less than a year in the US.
I can't imagine how bad those families feel at this time.
I know this is happening all over the world. Let us continue to pray for each other, no matter where everyone is located. I wonder if I will ever be able to go anywhere ever again. I stay home all the time. I have to drive my car once a week; or the battery goes dead. That is my vacation each week. My husband took me on an hour drive one day; but that was months ago. He does all the grocery shopping; so I am not sure I will know how to shop when this is over.
I find being able to create cards and helping with the Conie Fong Design Team is what keeps me going. I stay busy all the time. I actually helped my daughter negotiate buying a car last week. I am in CA and she is in FL; but we managed to do it over the phone with the car dealership where she lives. It is amazing how people have learned to function in our new world. It sure looks different than the old world we all knew, at least in CA.
I created a card with this adorable new Conie Fong Twinkle Angel Sophie the last few days. I used digital paper from A Bit More Time To Craft, Marble 18. I love having a gorgeous background and sometimes regular paper just doesn't have the same effect as using a digital image on gorgeous digital paper. This one was difficult to show up properly on a photo; but I did the best I could. Her hair isn't quite that dark; but this was the best I could do without making the background too light.
