Hello friends! I hope you are
having time to do something that you love. I have been trying to make
cards from the many card kits that I bought in the past 10+ yrs. Do you
ever wonder "What was I thinking?" when you look through your
crafting stash to discover all the crafting items you bought and never
used?
Why
did I think I needed all of those card kits and the extra embellishments for
them? I have so many Anna Griffin and Crafters Companion card kits in my
closet and cabinets. I didn't know how to create cards very well at the
time I started buying them and I signed up for the monthly shipments; so I
received a lot of them before I realized I didn't have time to use them.
Who needs 30 or 40 cards in a kit? I am exhausted after just trying to
create 10 of them. Some of them take me 2 hrs. just to create one
card!!!
When
CTMH closed it's doors, I decided it was time to stop buying and start using
all the kits, paper, cardstock and other supplies that I already have.
The only thing I have bought since June, are adhesives, glue, etc.
I am very grateful for everything I learned and experienced in the past 10+ crafting years. I have met so many wonderful people and watched so many fabulous YouTube videos. I would have never figured out how to color or create a card or scrapbook if not for all of you in blog land.
I
have to take frequent breaks from the card kits; so I created this mini
slimline card using two of the ghosts from Conie Fong Witch, Mummy, Vampire Boy and Ghost bundle.
I decided to create something other than Halloween with these cute little
ghosts. This card is a love card. I am learning to create outside
the box. Lol! I also created a birthday card for my great grandson
with the cute ghost with the balloon. Who says ghosts are only for
Halloween?
You can also learn to draw all of these images at Draw With Conie on YouTube. There are 2 bundles of Halloween doodles for you to draw or you can check some of them out on Etsy. https://www.youtube.com/@DrawWithConie

All CTMH products are retired. CTMH's last day of business was June 30, 2024. I will continue to list the products and numbers; and will be using CTMH supplies until they run out.
FYI: I am not promoting or selling any products. I am sharing the products I used as a courtesy to the people who read my blog; and because many of the challenges now require a list of products used.
