Hello Friends! I hope you are
doing well. Life is challenging right now; but we have to keep on going
and hoping for the best. We cannot give up now. I believe things will get better, hopefully later this year. Let's all wear our masks to help slow this virus down and take the vaccine if you are allowed to take it.
I
have been creating Sympathy cards; which is always difficult to do. This
one is for a good friend of mine, who lost her husband Jan. 2nd. I know
this has to be so difficult for those who are losing loved ones. It is so
hard to understand why so many good people are taken from us. Her
husband didn't die from COVID 19; but it is still a tragic situation, no matter how he died.
I am so glad that I am able to create something to send a friend when this happens. I may not be able to do much, especially in this pandemic; but we can always show our love and support by sending a card, an email, a text or a phone call.
This is one of my favorite CTMH stamps, "A Million Little Things D1925". I love coloring this flower. I used the new CTMH Distress Oxide Inks to color the background. I discovered by trial and error that these inks work best on Watercolor paper; which is what I used on this one.
I already had this die cut; so I went ahead and used it for this one. CTMH now has a few dies like this one; which I used on my next two Sympathy cards. I think it makes the cards look more elegant with these frames over the distressed oxide inks.
