Hello friends! I hope everyone is doing well. I have heard of snow still falling in the US; but we have much cooler weather than the normal this time of year. We also received rain last night. Wow! Rain!! Imagine that.
I haven't felt good lately so haven't created anything new for a couple weeks. I have been slowly working on a Thank you card for my hair dresser; but it has been slow. Nothing seems to work together; and I know I am making this harder on myself than it needs to be.
I didn't realize how hard it was to create for someone else. I normally create my cards from my heart; and don't worry about whether or not the recipient will like them or not. LOL! My cards usually let me know which person they are meant for. Creating something as a request is totally out of my comfort zone. I am sure that is why she did it. LOL!
I created this card a few months ago. I seem to go through spurts where I am able to create several simple cards; but my main cards with digi images (that I color by hand) take me a lot longer. LOL!

So sorry to hear you're feeling a bit under the weather. And so happy to see you on the blog again and even stepping out of your comfort zone. I love your digital card. Everyone thinks, oh, it's digital, she didn't have to really work at it, holy moley, it takes me twice as long to create a digi card or layout than a paper card. And I often am a glutton for punishment by making hybrid cards, where I use both digital and handmade elements to create my project.
ReplyDeleteYours is beautiful, and your friend will adore it. Thank you for sharing with us at the Path of Positivity. And feel better soon!
It isn't a digital card. It is a handmade card. LOL! Thanks for your lovely comment and it does take a lot of time putting any handmade card together; even if you have the pieces pre-printed in advance; like Anna Griffin kits. I always mix and match things; so I don't necessarily use just one kit.
DeleteGorgeous card!
ReplyDeleteThanks for playing at Pile It On!
