Birthday Card Using CTMH Ivy Lane Paper And Anna Griffin Flowers Die

DT Project for Digi Stamps 4 Joy  - Challenge 85 - Hearts

Hi all of you fabulous crafters in Blogland!  I hope it warms up in your area real soon; if you are in one of those areas hit by a hard winter this year.  We in Southern CA have been very blessed with wonderful weather; although we could use more rain.  It did rain all day one day last week; which was a blessing to our area.

I am so excited to share some wonderful news with you.  I have been chosen to be part of the Fabulous Design team of Digi Stamps 4 Joy.  I love their Digi stamps and have wanted to be part of their team for quite a while now.  This is the first card I have created as part of their DT.  I may create more before this one gets posted; but it is officially my first card with them.  

You still have another week to post a card for this challenge; which started February 5, 2014.  I hope you will take time to check out the Digi Stamps 4 Joy store by clicking on their name.  I have chosen the colored version of "Misteri - Would I Lie?"  I fell in love with her as soon as I saw her.  My favorite colors are purple and pink; so this was perfect with our new CTMH Ivy Lane paper.  I have also used my new Anna Griffin Floral dies that I got before for Christmas.

I created a side step birthday card for my granddaughter; who is turning 18 yrs. old  in April.  This Digi reminded me of her and her teenager attitude; plus the fact that she is gorgeous!  LOL!  She is also graduating from high school in May; so she still has a lot of growing up to do.  I love her dearly; even with the teenager attitude.  I wanted to send her a birthday/love card combination; and I think this worked well together.  I hope you enjoy my creation.  Here is the tutorial for the side step card; which is my favorite style of card to create.  There are several versions; so check out my Tutorials tab at the top of the page.
