Mother's Day card Using Imagine That "Pretty Petunias" with Cricut Art Philosophy Cartridge

Hello friends.  How is everyone doing?  I hope you are doing well.  I have been having a few rough weeks; but was finally able to create a card.  If I don't feel good; I use one of the pre-colored images by Imagine That Digis by Kris.  I can always come up with an idea; even when feeling bad. 

I am using Imagine That "Pretty Petunias" for this card.  I created this card for my mother; who is back in a nursing home again.  She really needs some encouragement.  She was home for a year, able to live alone with day help; and now she is back in the nursing home again; with a horrible leg wound that won't heal; plus she has to be on oxygen; due to a lot of fluid retention.

Kris is a fabulous artist and a very good friend of mine.  She took a chance on me for her Design Team "Sketches by Carly" several years ago (My first DT when I knew nothing).  Kris taught me everything I needed, to start using digis and so many new things.  She is an wonderful lady with awesome talent; as are her two daughters.  

Kris has a 30% coupon on her Facebook page; as she is celebrating 3 yrs. for Imagine That Digi's by Kris.  I love this image.  Look at that sweet Hummingbird and the gorgeous colors that Kris colored it with.  Sorry about the watermark in the middle of it; but there are people out there who copy cards that aren't watermarked and claim them as their own; or steal the digis from the artists who work hard to create them.  I am trying to do my part to keep that from happening.

Lil Patch of Crafty Friends - Challenge 29 - Anything Goes

Hello friends.   I hope everyone is doing well and finding time to craft.  I think crafting is the key to feeling better; especially when the weather is bad, if you are feeling down or just need an outlet for stress.  I feel lost if I don't create something at least every few days.  I would love to have time to create daily.  I think I would be healthier if I did create something every day. What other things do you do to help with your stress level?  I would love to know.

I had to buy a new computer; so I have been very stressed trying to figure out what to save from the old computer before shutting it down.  You never really know what you need until your new one is up and running; and then it is too late.  

I have not had time to create any cards for the past week or more; except a few Thank you cards for my wonderful CTMH customers.  I have been on the phone almost daily with Geek Squad trying to get my computer up and running.  I have a few more programs to take care of and then all should be good again.  At least the old computer didn't crash before getting a new one.
