Love Card Calendar Using Conie Fong Susie Sunshine Without Balloon Left Digi

Hello friends! I hope everyone is taking time to craft.  We have been having cooler weather here for the past couple weeks; but now in the 70's.   I have friends all over US with really cold weather and even blizzard conditions.  I saw on the news there were a lot of big snowstorms causing a lot of pile ups.  It was always scary for me to drive in the snow and ice; so I am grateful that I live in Southern CA now; so I don't have  to deal with that anymore.

I created this Calendar card last month and have been having fun creating them.  My friend Vannessa Hasty created several calendar cards over the past couple years and she peaked my interest in creating some for my family and friends.  I found the general instructions from a Tutorial at Splitcoast Stampers; after I had already bought some little ivory calendars on Ebay.  This tutorial provides you a link for a free calendar that you can print and cut yourself.  I used it on another two calendar cards that were white backgrounds.

I had a lot of challenges with the photos of this card; as these colors are hard to get accurate pictures.  The ribbon is more like the dress color; but I couldn't get it correct.  I apologize; but I did the best that I could.  It is purples/lavenders and blue green.

Friend Card Using Anna Griffin Pretty Pattern Cards

Hello friends!   I hope everyone is doing well.  I have heard of snow still falling in the US; but we have much cooler weather than the normal this time of year.  We also received rain last night.  Wow!  Rain!!  Imagine that.  

I haven't felt good lately so haven't created anything new for a couple weeks.  I have been slowly working on a Thank you card for my hair dresser; but it has been slow. Nothing seems to work together; and I know I am making this harder on myself than it needs to be.  

I didn't realize how hard it was to create for someone else.  I normally create my cards from my heart; and don't worry about whether or not the recipient will like them or not.  LOL!  My cards usually let me know which person they are meant for.  Creating something as a request is totally out of my comfort zone.  I am sure that is why she did it.  LOL!

I created this card a few months ago.  I seem to go through spurts where I am able to create several simple cards; but my main cards with digi images (that I color by hand) take me a lot longer.  LOL!

Love Card Using Ching-Chou Kuik Misty Moon with CTMH Something Magical Workshop Your Way

Hello friends!  I hope everyone is having time to craft and having fun doing it.  I am the happiest when I can create something for someone I love.  I wish I was able to craft day and night; but for some reason, I have to sleep, do laundry, cook, clean house, etc.  LOL!

I have been buying Ching-Chou Kuik gray-scale digis for a couple months now; and hadn't tried coloring one of them yet.  I decided the newest one was so perfect that I had to try it.  I was pleasantly surprised that it was easier than regular coloring.  It was easier for me than when I color a normal image without the gray-scale look.  I am not sure why; unless it shows more shadows; therefore allowing you to make more mistakes.  LOL!  Has anyone else colored CCK gray-scale images and found them to be easier to color?  

I made this card for my daughter; because it made me think about her.  Jenny is a hair dresser and colors a lot of hair.  I have always been impressed over her coloring her own hair over the years; even when she was a teenager and it wasn't approved by her mother.  LOL!  The only way I will ever color hair is with digis.  LOL!  

I made this card thinking of how much I love my daughter; and how proud I am of her.  She has had a difficult adult life; but she perseveres through every challenge.  It may be with lots of upset; but she is an amazing woman, mother, daughter and fabulous friend.  I know she will feel my love for her when she receives it.  

I felt like this image was both magical and mystical; and the sentiment needed to use the word magical in it.  LOL!    This gorgeous image is on sale right now through Feb. 17th; so get yours now.  You receive two of these images.  I used the lighter one for this creation.
