Hello
friends. I hope everyone is doing well; and taking time to craft. It has been warming up here in Southern CA. It was in the 70's yesterday and again today. I had some minor eye surgery on Wednesday; so I have been having a lot of pain. I may have finally learned not to believe a physician when he says there will be no pain. If someone messes with your eyes or any other body part; there will be pain.
Have you ever colored an entire image; and then made a mistake at the end and you couldn't fix it? I had that happen with this image. And of course, I colored her hair even better on that first attempt. LOL!
I was having trouble with my vision; and probably shouldn't have been coloring anyway; but it gets my mind off of the pain. I can't blame this on my vision; but I can blame it on my pain. LOL! I actually colored the whites of the eyes with color, instead of the smaller round part, then tried to remove it with my wonderful "0" Copic marker, only to make her look like she had two dark eyes, like she had been hit in her eyes. So, this is my second attempt.
I used Ching-Chou Kuik "Love Birds"; which is a beautiful image. I love pastel colors; so this one seemed to suit this card. I tried not to cover all of the floral patterned paper; especially one of the keys. I loved that part. I used a couple of my Anna Griffin Dies; which are just gorgeous! I hope you enjoy my creation.
