Birthday Card Using CTMH Laughing Lola Paper and Cricut Art Philosophy Cartridge

Hi to everyone in Blogland!  I hope everyone is having a good time and making time to create!  I feel like a part of me is missing if I am not creating every few days.  I woke up with another headache; but decided to ride my bike to enjoy the beautiful Southern CA weather.  It made me dizzy; but it was worth it just getting outside for a while.
 

I have created my 3rd card of the year; so I am trying to make up for lost time.  LOL!  I didn't create for several weeks due to the holidays.  I am using another FREE digi that you can find at Lacy Sunshine.  You will receive a free digi each time you enter their challenge and use one of their digi stamps.  I love these adorable stamps.  Who wouldn't want to try them.  Just click on the link above and follow the directions for getting your free digi stamp each challenge.  If you don't own one of their sweet images; you will have to purchase the first one and then you will be able to get a new one every two weeks.  How fabulous is that! 
 

I used a Mojo Monday sketch to create this.  I just turned it around a little.  See below.  I am using the one featured on this challenge; which is "Rory Love".  I thought she was so cute; that I had to use this one.  She costs only $2.00 today; but that may be for just another day.  You will have to check the Lacy Sunshine Stamp Website to view all of the fabulous digi stamps.

Christmas Card Using Digistamps4joy Free Digi and Cricut Art Philosophy

Hello to all of you fabulous crafters/readers in Blogland!  It has been warm and windy here in Southern CA; very dry with several fires in the Southern CA area.  I always hate to hear about the fires starting.  I have difficult breathing even inside our house when the fires come.  Luckily; they are not near us at this time.  We really need rain.  Normally, this is the time of year that we receive rain.  We are having a very unusual winter this year; very warm and very dry.

I am excited to share with you a card I created using a FREE digi for the "2014 Christmas Challenge at Digistamps4joy"; where you can receive a FREE Christmas digi each month; when you enter the Christmas monthly challenge.  Be sure to click on the link above and check it out.  You will need to follow the instructions to get your free Christmas digi stamp.  You  have until Jan. 31st to enter; so get started and have fun creating.  I am taking advantage of it; because I want to get my Christmas cards finished earlier this year.  LOL!

Plus - I can continue using my Christmas dividers on my blog whenever I create a Christmas card.  I love all those flashing lights!  LOL!

Birthday Card For A Tri-Fold Shutter Card (Using Hunkydory Kinetic Card Kit)

Hi to all of you wonderful people out there in Blogland.  I hope you are having a fabulous 2014 so far.  I created my first card this year with a card kit I had purchased; just so I could try making this style of card.  I am glad I had it; because I needed a quick card for a friend's birthday and it worked out great.  

I have never purchased any card kits except those made by CTMH; so I wasn't sure if I would like it or not.  It was fairly easy; because all the pieces were already die cut for you.  Quick and easy. Very pretty too.  Another reason I bought it was because one of the cards is purple and another is pink. LOL!  I love everything purple and pink!  The pictures does not do this card justice at all.  It is a very pretty green color; but this picture is too light.  

I wanted to create one of these cards for quite a while; but I haven't had time.  So, I bought a card kit with four of these cards already precut; just to see how they looked.  I love this style of card and glad I bought this card kit.  It is very good when you need a quick card.  I created this one for my friend Sue.   Now I need to try to create one on my own.  LOL!

This paper is a beautiful soft green and silver with sparkles; which does not appear that way here.  Sorry.  I tried several times and I think the type of paper makes the light hit it; which then causes it to look lighter.
