Valentine Card Using Delicious Doodles "Endless Love" And Cricut Art Philosophy

DT Project For Tammy's Scrapin Corner Challenge #48 Valentine Cards.

Hello everyone.  It is once again sunny in Southern CA.  I have been running around with my mom every other day; when she feels like it.  We are keeping busy with her Dr. appts.  I always have her seen by the Doctors in CA when she come to visit.  We also go out to eat and do a little sight seeing.   My mom is 79 yrs old and we have to use the wheelchair if we are going where she needs to walk for very long.

I went to the Scrapbooking Expo in Anaheim, CA on Friday and had a wonderful time there.  My husband was so sweet to drive me there and take care of my mom for 4 1/2 hrs while I shopped.  I rarely spend money; but they had some awesome deals that were hard to resist.

It is time for another great week at Tammy's Scrapin Corner for Challenge #48 - Valentine Cards.  I hope you will join us this week.  Our sponsors are QKR Stampede and Delicious Doodles.  Check out the awesome creations from the DT.  Our GDT this week is Rina Meyers. Her blog is  ScrapbookFashionista Designs.  If you would like to be a guest designer; please add GDT behind your name when you post your card.

I chose a Delicious Doodles image "Endless Love".  I fell in love with this image when I saw it.  I liked the image the way it was; so I chose not to color it and just changed the border color to a reddish color/hot pink.  It didn't turn out as great as I wanted; but it is still pretty.  I made another twisted easel card.  The tutorial for the twisted easel card can be found at Card Making Magic.  I hope you will try this one.

Twisted Easel Card, If Friends Were Flowers - Using Cricut Art Philosophy Cartridge

DT Project For Tammy's Scrapin Corner Challenge #47 Buttons.

Hello to all my crafting buddies and followers!  It rained for a few days here in Southern CA and now it is sunny again.  My mom and I went out Thursday for a few hours to the craft stores to see if they had anything new or exciting; but no such luck.  LOL.  We had lunch out and then came home to watch a movie.  Saturday, we took my mom to China Town and Little Tokyo; then ate dinner in Monterey Park.  It was a fun day.

I am so excited to share with you my card for Challenge #47-"Buttons" at Tammy's Scrapin CornerOur sponsors this week are Bugaboo Stamps and Sk Digi's.  They both have some awesome digi stamps which I am sure you will love.  Digi images add something to a card.  You can still use your stamps and create so much more when you combine them.

I chose a Bugaboo Digi - "Friends Were Flowers" which comes with the cute sentiment seen on the front of my card.  I created my first twisted easel card; which was so much fun.  I love making this type of card.  The card is easy to make and so cute.  I also used another new paper packet that comes out February 1st with Close To My Heart.  It is called "Chantilly" and has some gorgeous colors in it.  You can find the tutorial for the Twisted Easel Card here at Card Making Magic.  I don't know where the quote came from for the lower half of the card.  I searched on the Internet and it came up as Unknown.  If anyone knows where it came from; please let me know.

Sympathy Card Using Cricut Artiste Cartridge

Guest DT for Twisted Tuesdays Blogspot.

Hi to all my fellow friends, bloggers and followers. It was very cold in Southern CA; breaking all the records.  We had a freeze warning several nights in a row.  The last few days have been in the upper 70's.  Can you believe that?  My mother flew in from MO and said it was colder here than when she left home.  It changed there quite rapidly and last I heard was only 17 degrees.

I am honored to have been selected to be a Guest DT with Twisted Tueday's Challenges.  They have such wonderful challenges.  Be sure to check them out.  I was supposed to be a GDT in November; but my father in law passed away; so I had to change the date.  Check out all the wonderful creations by the DT.

This week is Bingo.  I have used Color Blue, Sympathy and Twine.  You may choose any three down, across or diagonal.

I can't get the chart to work for the bingo correctly so I will try it another way.

Twine ---------------Thank You-----------------------Tearing

Sympathy ---------- Sparkle --------------------------Special Fold

Color Blue----------Brad------------------------------Congratulations

Twist - Let a machine help you with your creation this week.  Like a Cricut, Cuttlebug, Big Shot, etc.  If no machine; you can use a punch.

Valentine Card Using Cricut Artiste and Cricut Art Philosophy Cartridges

DT Project For Tammy's Scrapin Corner Challenge #46 Red And/Or Hearts.

Hi to everyone.  It has started feeling like spring here now with temperatures in the 70's.  I hope everyone is keeping warm and finding time to craft.  It has been a busy week taking mom to her Dr. appts and the dentist.  We stay busy when she comes to visit.  I think we need more down time.

It's time for a wonderful new challenge at Tammy's Scrapin Corner - Challenge #46 - Red and/or Hearts. Our sponsors this week are Eureka Stamps and Kenny K downloads. If you want to be a guest designer; please add GDT behind your name when you post your card.

We are thrilled to have two Guest Designers this week. Bunny Hoyle and Valerie (Valou). Click on their names to see all their beautiful creations on their blogs.  Be sure to check out the other members of DT as they have created some fabulous cards for you this week.

I have chosen a Digi stamp from Eureka Stamps - "Large Heart Puppy".  Isn't he adorable?  I loved this Digi the first time I saw it.

The black and white damask paper is from our new CTMH Idea book called "For Always".  CTMH "For Always" paper pack includes several different patterns of paper and there are several accessories to match including our wonderful new material.  These and many other new paper packets and material will be available February 1st, 2013.  I can't wait for you to see what we have new in our Spring/Summer 2013 Idea Book.

I used the darling stamp set from CTMH "Whooo's Your Valentine" kit; which is only $10 with a $35 purchase through the end of January.  Retail is $40.  It contains supplies to make 12 boxes with treat tubes and a Valentine Stamp set.

I used the Cricut Artiste Cartridge to cut out the sentiment "Be Mine" on the outside and "Happy Valentine's Day" on the inside.  The Artiste has several die cuts for the holidays.  It is a fabulous cartridge.  Check out the Cricut Artiste Collection here.

Magic Birthday Card Using Cricut Artiste and Cricut Art Philosophy

Hi to all my wonderful followers, friends and fellow crafters.  It is starting out to be a fabulous New Year.  My husband and I took a mini vacation and went to Sacramento and Redding, CA to see all the gorgeous mountains and scenery.  We went to Mount Shasta and several other places.  It was great to see the snow; but I wouldn't want to live with all that ice again as I did in MO.  My husband did all the driving; so it was very relaxing for me.  It was nice to get away for a few days.
I made this card before our mini vacation for a dear friend of mine named Rose.  I thought it was very appropriate for her since it had roses on it.  Rose was like a second mother to me when I was a child.  Her daughter, Jakye and I were best friends in grade school/junior high and inseparable.  Jakye tracked me down after over 30 yrs of losing touch with each other.  It is so great to reconnect with my long time friend.

I used a digi stamp from Paper Makeup Stamps called "Moody For Flowers".  I love their beautiful digi stamps and this one is one of my new favorites.  I used the tutorial found on Marianne Skjelstad's blog. I fell in love with this "Magic Card" as soon as I saw it. Check out the tutorial and try it out for yourself if you haven't already tried it. I think this is my new favorite card design.  It isn't that hard to make with the wonderful tutorial.
