Hi There card With Ching-Chou Kuik "Keep In Faith" Making My Own Background Paper

Hello friends.  I hope everyone is doing well; and those who were evacuated due to the hurricanes and fires are safe.  It is very frightening with all the national disasters.  I know it will be a long time before power, homes and lives will return to normal.  My heart goes out to all of those people who are still in shelters, have lost their homes or lost loved ones.

It is time for another Ching-Chou Kuik Inspiration Post; and our topic is "Make Your Own Background".  I rarely do stamping all over a page to make my own background; but I have to say this was a great challenge.  It took me a long time to stamp and color these beautiful sunflowers (I just realized that these may not be sunflowers.  LOL! ) on the paper behind my image; and two attempts before I got it the way I wanted it.  I decided to color all of the flowers, leaves, etc; in case I moved the image around; which I did.  LOL! The image is Ching-Chou Kuik "Keep In Faith".   I hope you enjoy this image.

Working on this card with "Keep In Faith" name gave me hope this past few days with my family and friends in the path of Hurricane Irma.  My son Aaron and his family flew here from Argentina and had to change planes in Miami, FL on Friday; when they were canceling flights right and left.  They made it to Los Angeles Friday afternoon.  Three members of my family live in Naples and had to evacuate; and my daughter lives in Milton, FL; which is ok right now; but Hurricane Irma is still active in FL.

CTMH has created a stamp set to help the people who have been hit with these disasters.  All proceeds will go to Red Cross.  Scroll down for more information.

Created my own background paper with stamp set.
I thought this stamp was a sunflower; but now I am not sure.  LOL!
