Cup of Cheer Tea Time Card - My First Card In A Box

Hello Friends.  I am back again.  I wanted to share my very first card in a box/box card.  I know I am way behind the times.  LOL!  I usually wait until new creations have been around a while; before trying them or buying them.  I have to admit this one looked like more than I could handle.  I started it once; then gave up.  I was motivated by my dear friends Cheryl and Betty. Both of these friends were busy creating these adorable cards in a box; while I sat back and envied them.  I finally called Cheryl; who instructed me over the phone; and gave me the confidence to finally jump in and just do it.   I have to admit it was more intimidating than it should have been; mainly because of all the pieces involved to create this type of card. 

Betty had sent me a pattern to use on my Cricut Explore; but I decided to order a kit of 5 cards to try first.  I thought it would be easier with the instructions; but it wasn't easier for me.  LOL! The instructions are just pictures.  The hardest part was trying to figure out what papers and cardstock to use.  I finally cut everything out with the recommended colors and then figured out which ones I wanted to change. I have only completed one; but I thought it was really cute.
