Christmas Card Using Cricut Artbooking,Cricut Art Philosophy and CTMH Brushed Paper

Hello friends.  I hope everyone is doing well.  It is sunny and hot here in Southern CA.  I think some of the US is cooling down; but not here.  

I am trying to keep up with the DS4J Monthly Christmas challenge; so I created an easel card for August. It is DS4J Santa's Helper; which you can purchase in DS4J shop; by clicking on the name.  I love that we get a free stamp each month to create a Christmas card; so we don't have to rush at the last minute trying to get them all done on time.  I decided to use a non-traditional color; so I created it using pink and purple. Imagine that?  My favorite colors.  LOL!  I hope you enjoy it.

I used some of my New CTMH Paper Fundamentals; which are double sided patterned paper (cardstock weight). The same pattern on both sides; but one side is a shiny version.  I know it is hard to see the shiny purple tree, purple and pink gifts and the pink ornament background overlay.  They are gorgeous in person.  They actually have little shiny hearts on them.  The purple (Gypsy) is part of the Paper Fundamentals Adventure Assortment and the pink (Pixie) is part of the Paper Fundamentals Whimsy Assortment.  I am so in love with these new new papers.  The printed paper is part of the CTMH Brushed paper pack.  

I also had to use Anna Griffins NEW release of her Christmas dies and embossing folders.  The Christmas tree was cut and then I used the embossing folder that came with it to emboss all the little details; which are hard to see on the picture.  It is a Victorian Tree and I love it!  I was searching for a Christmas tree on Cricut Explore; when this arrived.  Such perfect timing!  I also used Anna Griffin's new snowflake die that came with the set.
