FREE Digi Stamps 4 Joy Image
Hello to all my friends, followers, fellow crafters. I hope everyone is doing well. My brother in law Darrell; started chemo again this week. We could use your prayers for him; as this is his 3rd time time for chemo. He had been cancer free for 5 years; but then another form of cancer showed up He had surgery and they thought they got it all; but now it has spread. I believe prayers do help; so the more people who pray; the more help he will receive. Thanks so much for those who do pray. I really appreciate it.
I know many people like to start their Christmas cards early; so why not take advantage of the FREE Digi that is offered every month through Digi Stamps 4 Joy 2014 Monthly Christmas Challenge. Click on the link and follow directions on how to get your FREE Christmas Digi each month. This is my 4th Christmas card and I am so excited to be ahead in creating them; rather than waiting until the last minute.
I love this Christmas Robin; and was very excited to use it. I wanted to enter it in the Path of Positivity Challenge - Peace; that Lisa is having through May 4th. The Robin reminds me of Peace. It is nice to have Peace; whether or not it is Peace from worry; Peace at home; Peace over a loved ones suffering; Peace for the world, Peace for your family, Peace for families who have experienced a tragedy in their lives; or just the feeling of overall Peace. Peace is felt differently for each of us; but I wish Peace to everyone reading this, to all those families who lost someone in the tragic airline that disappeared, Peace for the families who lost loved ones in that horrible head on collision with high school students and the Fed Ex truck; and Peace for those people who had family stabbed by a student. The list is endless; so Peace On Earth; should cover everyone and every living thing. Peace is important to all of us. There is too much tragedy in life; so let us focus on Peace and try to bring Peace to others around us. Not just at Christmas time; but all year long.
The colors didn't turn out as well as I would have liked in these pictures. The first card is too light; (although closer to real color) and the second card too dark. LOL!. These are shades of pink, (CTMH Smoothie) and reds (CTMH Ruby) and green (CTMH Olive). I tried to adjust the pictures; but it didn't work very well on the second one.
