All Occasion Card Using Conie Fong Little Blossom and CTMH Prickly Pear Paper

Hello friends.  It is another sunny day here in Southern CA and going to be another hot one.  I hope everyone is doing well and finding time to craft.

My husband woke me up this morning to let me know that our feral cat Milo didn't show up this morning and the neighbor found cat body parts; left over from a coyote; down the road in someone else's yard.  I cried for over an hour and then finally went down there to pick up the pieces and place them in a box to bury.  We live in the city; but coyotes come down all the time when it is too hot, raining or fires.  It is heartbreaking when you lose an animal; even if it is a feral cat.  She just turned one year old in May.  

We started out with 13 feral cats in Dec. 2015 and lost 5 of them before January. We were able to catch 8 feral cats with cages; in January and get them all vaccinated and fixed; but it didn't stop their love to roam.  We lost 2 a few months ago; so we were down to 6 left.  They are all so gorgeous and so special to us.  We share custody and care of them with our neighbor; who loves them as much as we do. We even have a hole cut in the wood fence between our homes; so they can go back and forth any time they want to.  This is the first cat that we have actually witnessed for sure that was taken by a coyote.  That part is the hardest to get over.  I thought the not knowing what happened to them was worse; but I was wrong.
