Lil Patch of Crafty Friends - Challenge 31 - Anything Goes

Hello friends.   I hope everyone is finding time to craft.  It has been rather chilly here the past couple days and nights.  I like it cooler.  Normally I sleep better when it is cooler; but haven't been able to sleep much for the past few nights.

My mother had to go back into the nursing home about 6 weeks ago.  We thought it would only be for around 20 days; just for wound care; but her wound is not healing.  She is getting more upset every day that she is in there.  Here leg isn't healing properly and she has torn another place on her other leg.  It is so hard to age sometimes; and she is in constant pain.  I feel so bad for her; and there isn't really anything I can do to help her, other than to pray.

One of my Feral cats (Callie) had 4 kittens on March 18th, she moved them on March 22nd to a neighbors yard and then the neighbors found them; so I went to get them.  One was missing, one was dead and two were still alive.  I took them home with me; tried to feed and take care of them; but they were not quite a week old yet.  The mother cat did come back and get one at 11:30 and then later that night she finally took the other one.  I spent all day last Friday taking care of those two baby kittens. It was so wonderful to be able to help; but I was so worried about hurting them.  They were so tiny.  Now I worry about them; since I can't see them at all.  I just have to trust that she is taking care of them the best she knows how.  It is hard to be a mother; whether you are human or an animal.  LOL!  

I chose an angel cat for one of my granddaughters.  Her cat died recently and she has another one; but she still talks about the one that passed away, all the time.  I thought this would be a cute card for her; especially the sentiment inside from Ginger's House.  She has some pretty awesome sentiments on her blog; and they are all free.
