Hello friends. It has been really hot in Southern CA and I imagine for most parts of US. I hope everyone is keeping cool. It is really hard to get outside and enjoy the summer when it is 100 or more. It was 107 here yesterday.
I had a lot of fun creating this card. I used Ellie Mae Clampett from the Beverly Hillbillies movie/TV show as inspiration for coloring Kenny K "Farmer's Daughter" Digi and the song "Born Country" by Alabama. I thought these two worked well together. I am a country girl at heart; so I really enjoyed creating this card. Our sponsor this week is Kenny K.
I combined two paper packs from CTMH, Jubilee and Ariana. I used Cricut Art Philosophy and Cricut Artbooking cartridges, as well. CTMH has an adorable stamp set; Country Born D1543; which is where I got the sentiments. I created an Easel card; which is one of my favorite types of cards.
