Birthday Card Using CTMH Ivy Lane Paper and Cricut Artiste Cartridge

DT Project for Digi Stamps 4 Joy  - Challenge 95 - Shaped Card

Hello all of you wonderful people in Blogland.  I hope everyone is doing well.  It will be a long weekend for the 4th of July for many people; and I hope you have time to spend with your families. I have an update on my brother in law Darrell.  He was released from the hospital and is home.  He will need a lot of time to recover; but he and Becky said to thank everyone for all of your prayers.  He seems to be on the road to recovery.  His CT scan was clear of cancer; and we pray it stays that way. He still needs your prayers for his full recovery.

I have used this really adorable Digi stamp DS4J Martini Punkette Coloured.  Isn't she adorable.  I made a card for one of my granddaughters for her BD.  I found this shaped card on Cricut Artiste.  I was surprised; because I use that cartridge a lot; and have never seen that card base before.  I love it!  I really love the section that is cut out; so you can see the patterned paper behind it.  I also used a double sided CTMH Ivy Lane Paper.  All of our paper packs are double sided; which makes it even easier to create these types of cards.  

I am entering this card in Path Of Positivity Challenge - Happiness.  I have always loved to dance and this cute colored Digi reminds me of dancing and playing.  She is adorable and seems very full of happiness.  I was so happy when I created this card for one of my granddaughters.  This card made me smile.  It is even prettier in person.  I hope you enjoy it.  I debated about entering this in her challenge; because I feel I have already entered enough cards this month; in her challenge.  Take time to enter Lisa's positive challenge blog and share the happiness with others of the things that bring you joy/happiness.  I am sure they will enjoy it too.

Double sided paper; but I used two layers to make it thicker/heavier; because the front was very heavy with all the layers; so it needed reinforcement.  I would have been fine with one layer; if I hadn't piled on so much on the front; plus the foam tape and flowers.  LOL!
