Hi to all my crafting friends and readers. I am finally back to crafting after almost 3 weeks off. LOL! We took a two week vacation and this is the first thing I have created since I returned. I really missed creating. I feel like a part of me is missing when I don't have time to create.
This card was created using the FREE May Christmas Digi from DS4J Monthly Christmas Challenge. It is called DS4J King I - Time To Go. If you use their current month to create a card; then you automatically receive the next month Christmas Digi free. This is Month 5; so that is 5 Christmas cards completed and 7 to go. I wish I had time to create two a month; but I just don't have the time. I will still be ahead of the game this year compared to previous years. I am one of those people who waits until the last month to create them; but not anymore; thanks to DS4J. Margy is very creative and it is so much fun using her Digi stamps each month.
I am entering this Christmas card into the Path of Positivity Challenge - Wisdom. This image is one of the three wise men on their way to Bethlehem for the birth of Jesus; so I assume this is a man with great wisdom. Wisdom usually comes with years of experience; although everyone has told me that my daughter has always been wise beyond her age. I saw this too; as she was growing into a young lady. She always seems to know things that are rare and beyond her age. I have heard the term, "Wise Old Souls"; and I believe that is what she is. I am very proud of her choices in life; even though they didn't seem right to me at the time she made them. She has accomplished a lot; creating a career, a home for her and her husband and 4 beautiful children. She listens quite well; and has more patience than I ever did. LOL!
