Baby Girl card Using Conie Fong "Baby Ellie"

Hello friends!  It is raining, raining, raining here in Southern CA.  I know we need the rain; but enough is enough.  LOL!  I don't mind it as long as I can stay inside; but my poor feral cats are miserable and they don't know what to do when it rains.  I just feel really bad for them.  It is hard to keep their food dry and very few places for them to stay out of the rain.  

I have a wonderful new great granddaughter named Kopper Reign (nickname is KoKo) born March 9th; so I was very happy to have the opportunity to create two beautiful baby cards.  One for the mother and one for the grandmother.  I haven't posted the first one; but this is the one I just finished.  I thought it turned out so cute.  

I colored Conie Fong "Baby Ellie" digital image.  I think these little elephants are so adorable.  It made a perfect card for a new baby.  There are 3 different images to choose from. One elephant with a bouquet of flowers (One facing left and one facing right; total of 2 images) called Conie Fong "Ellie Bouquet".  Twin baby elephants in a pram (facing both left and right - total of 2 images) called Conie Fong "Twin Blessings".  And this one with one baby elephant in a pram.

Good Luck card Using Aurora Wings Shamrock Sprite

Hello friends! I hope you are doing well.  It has been crazy weather across the United States.  We have had a lot of rain in Southern CA; which is a good thing; as long as it doesn't cause mud slides.  

I hadn't colored anything for a while; since I had a bad cold for over two weeks; with a major cough.  It took a long time to get over this one.  I can't keep up with all new Aurora Wings adorable digital images Mitzi is creating.  I just finished this one today; and she came out with three more sweet Sprites.  

I had fun coloring this Aurora Wings Shamrock Sprite.  Isn't she precious!!  Again, my purples do not photograph correctly.  The dress is purple and green; but it matches all the other purples around it in real life.  LOL!  The inside is also same purples as front; but they look different.  The Sequins are also purple, not the blue shown in photo.

I just finally give up and used the best one available; as purples just don't look good when I take pictures of them.  I found the quote online; but no name associated with it.

Purple just doesn't photograph well for me.

Thank You Card Using Ching-Chou Kuik Monarch Butterfly

Hello friends!  I can't believe all the heavy snow in the Northeast.  I feel so bad for all of you that live anywhere near that area.  It must be very cold and difficult to get around.  Please be careful out there or anywhere else that it is freezing with snow and ice.

I have been sick the past 10 days; but I am starting to feel better; and hopefully on the road to recovery.  It is hard for me to stay in bed or to sleep when I feel bad. My husband and others that I know sleep more and stay in bed when sick.  I try to do less and take a lot of breaks to read; but it is very difficult to be sick.  LOL!  

A friend of mine asked me to create a Thank you card for her in-laws; so I have been trying to create a few for her to choose from.  This was my favorite of the four that I created for her.  I will be presenting them to her next week for her to choose.  The pictures didn't show the true colors of the purples; but I did the best I could to get them as close as possible.  

I am using Ching-Chou Kuik "Monarch Butterfly"; which is a fairly new image.  It comes with another image in the set; and you can also purchase the colored version of each of them.  This is my first time to use my Zig Water based Markers; although I have had them for at least a year, I think.  LOL!  I decided to create an Easel card; which is one of my favorite cards.  The colors of the butterfly and flowers are a violet blue; so not the color shown there.  LOL!  Lavenders/Purples are the hardest to photograph of any colors I have found.
