Birthday Card Using Ching-Chou Kuik Carnation Love with Wild Rose Studio Butterfly Glade Paper

Hello friends.  It has been really cool here in Southern CA, cloudy; but no rain.  I hope you are having fabulous spring weather wherever you are.  

I didn't think I would have the time to create another card this week.  I have a lot to do before my family comes to visit.  I can't stay away from my craft room when I am home.  You can only do a certain amount of housework; and then you have to have a break!  Right? I get so tired doing housework; but crafting makes me feel so much better.  LOL! 

This image is the fabulous Ching-Chou Kuik Carnation Love.  It is free on her Facebook group; which you can join at any time.  Ching-Chou created it just for us to enter into her May challenge.  This challenge ends May 31, 2015.  I fell in love with this image as soon as I saw it.  It has been die cut and waiting for me to find time to color it.  My biggest challenge in creating a card is trying to find the paper I want to use; and then trying to match Copic markers to the paper.  Does anyone else find this a challenge?  It is very time consuming for me.

All Occasion Card Using Sweet Pea Spring Fairy

Hi friends.  It is a beautiful sunny day in Southern CA.  We finally got rain last night and snow in the mountains.  Yeah!  We actually had thunderstorms with lightning.  That rarely happens here in Southern CA.   I remember when I lived in Florida; that it rained every day; and I hated that.  Now, I look forward to the rain and the storms; because we rarely have it here.  I guess we are never happy with our current weather.  LOL!

I just finished my last card that I am going to have time to finish before vacation.  I have a lot to do; so I am stopping with this one.  I have several progressive challenges that I love to participate in each month; so it is hard not to do them.  I ran out of time and I don't want the pressure.  

I created this card with the adorable Sweet Pea Spring Fairy.  Isn't she gorgeous!!  I just love this image.  I found this beautiful paper with a garden scene in my stash; and just had to use it. I love all the gorgeous flowers on here.  My picture didn't turn out as well as I had hoped; but these shades of pink don't photograph very well.  Her dress is pink, not red; just in case you can't tell.  LOL!

Mother's Day Card Using Imagine That Teacup Pansies and Cricut Art Philosophy Cartridge

Hello friends!  I hope everyone is having a great month of May.  It should be warming up, at least in the US.  I think it is winter in other parts of the world.   We will be on vacation soon; so if you don't see me on here for a few weeks; don't worry.  I will be back when my daughter and 3 grandkids fly back to MO; after their visit in June.  I am so excited!  I can hardly wait to see my family!  I am so ready to leave right now!  LOL!  I miss my mother and all of my family so much!  It is such a challenge to live so far away from them; but CA is where I need to be at this time in my life.  

I created another card for my mother using this awesome Imagine That! Digis by Kris - Teacup Pansies.  I used the pre-colored image and the sentiment on the outside.  Kris does such a fabulous job in creating her awesome digis.  Be sure to check out the Imagine That Progressive Challenge each month on her blog.  Purchase the current month's digi on her website (at a discount); create a card with it; enter into her challenge and you will receive the next month's image free.  It always includes black and white images and colored ones too; plus sentiments.  It is so fun to create with her designs.  She has two to choose from for this month; so everyone who entered last month received both sets of images for this month.
