Just For You Card

Hello friends!  How is everyone?  I hope you are doing well.  It is in the 90's again today in Southern CA.  Crazy weather.  I have been playing with my papers and dies that I haven't used in a while.  It is fun trying to figure out things to do with all of these gorgeous papers.

My sister Alice, wanted me to create her a card using this paper; but I didn't want to cover up all those fabulous butterflies; so I found one of my word dies.  It turned out pretty good.  It is such a gorgeous paper set that I purchased in 2014 or close to that. The papers have that date on them.  That is 10 yrs ago; which seems like forever to have something and not use it.  Lol!

  1. Wonder how I missed getting that paperpack, my daughter was in it at that time and I bet she has a piece of it. It is so pretty and glad you found a good spot for the sentiment and were still able to add a couple butterflies without covering the beautiful flowal pattern. Thanks again for sharing your card with us at Double Trouble.

  2. Gloria, such a beautiful card that lets the CTMH paper be showcased! I have some paper that old, too, so I'm always looking for inspiration on how to effectively use it. Some are so gorgeous (like yours) that I don't want to "waste" it, and other old papers are so "out of fashion" that I don't know what to do with it :-D Thank you for sharing your card with us at Double Trouble for our "Any Way You Punch It" challenge!!! -Donna

  3. Such a fantastic piece of patterned paper. I would not have wanted to cover it either. Using the die cut words was the perfect idea. Thanks for sharing this beauty with us at Just Us Girls.
