Thank You Cards With CTMH Clementine Paper Using Cricut Artiste Cartridge

Hello Friends and Crafters.  I hope everyone is enjoying their life and finding time to craft.  I wish I had more time to create; but everyday life seems to take over and time just gets away.  I created these cards several weeks ago; but haven't had time to post them until now.  I like this simple style and I love this CTMH Clementine paper.  It is one of my favorites in the fall Idea book and was carried over to our new Spring/Summer 2013 Idea Book; which is now available for you to place orders for all your favorite products.  This stamp set is also one of my favorites - D1525 CTMH Casual Expressions.

Door Hanger Using CTMH Chantilly With Cricut Artiste and Cricut Art Philosophy Cartridges

DT Project For Tammy's Scrapin Corner Challenge #55 - Anything Goes But A Card.

Hi there.  This is a very special day for me.  I am celebrating my one year anniversary with Close To My Heart (CTMH)!  This past year has been an awesome experience.  I am grateful for this experience and for all of you - my customers, my followers and everyone who has supported me in blog land.  I cherish each of you.  You are a loving, supportive, kind and generous group of people.  You have given me such joy and acceptance since I joined you a year ago.  Thanks from the bottom of my heart!!  Scroll down for my free gifts and specials for the remainder of March and April to celebrate my anniversary with CTMH.

I hope all of you are having fun creating and enjoying your life.  It is another beautiful day in Southern CA.  I actually had time to spend with my husband last Sunday; which is rare.  We went to lunch and then to the beach for a walk.  It was so nice outside.  We were just talking about our whale watching trip we took several years ago and how we would like to go again.  I won a free trip for sighting the first whale that day; but we didn't go back to use the winning ticket.  While talking about it; we were blessed with a wonderful surprise - A Grey whale and over 15-20 dolphins were swimming fairly close to the shore.  This was the first time we have seen a Grey whale close up near the shore.  It was breathtaking!!  We were in awe of their beauty!  It has been a while since I saw dolphins there as well.  It reminded me that I need to take more time to enjoy nature; especially the beach.  They weren't close enough for pictures or I would show them to you.

It is another fabulous week for Tammy's Scrapin Corner - Challenge 55 - Anything Goes But A Card.  Our sponsors this week are Meljen's Designs, Bugaboo Stamps and SkDigis.  I hope you will take time to enter our challenge this week.  Be sure to check out all the wonderful creations by our Design team.  Our Guest Designer this week is Chrissy.  Check out her blog as well.  If you would like to be a Guest Designer; please add GDT behind your name when you enter the challenge.  Good luck to everyone who enters.

I chose Meljen's Designs "Fancy Butterfly" for my image this week.  I had a challenge with this one since I normally create cards and scrapbook pages.  This is my first time to create something else.  It was fun.  I changed my mind about six times before finally making this door hanger for my granddaughter's birthday.  I didn't cut the slit in it yet.  I decided to wait and let her mother do that in case she wants to hang it somewhere else.  I am sure her other three kids will want me to create them one after they see hers; which I look forward to doing.  The grandkids always love and appreciate anything I create; even if it looks terrible to me.  LOL!

Easel Card Using CTMH Clementine, Cricut Artiste, Cricut Art Philosophy Cartridges

DT Project For Tammy's Scrapin Corner Challenge #54 - Easter.

Hi to all my followers, friends, family and readers.  I hope everyone is doing well.  I have been playing catch up since my mom left last Sunday.  It has been very quiet around here with just me during the days.  Our weather has been in the 90's the past several days in Southern CA.  I hope that isn't a sign of what our summer will be.  I wanted Spring weather to last for at least 2 - 3 more months.  I am not fond of the hot weather.

We are having a fabulous new Challenge at Tammy's Scrapin Corner - Challenge #54 - Easter.   Our sponsor this week is Eureka Stamps.  I hope you will take time to enter our challenge this week.  Be sure to check out all the wonderful creations by our Design team.  Our Guest Designer this week is Chrissy.  Be sure to check out her blog for all her wonderful creations.  If you would like to be a Guest Designer; please add GDT behind your name when you enter the challenge.  Good luck to everyone who enters.

I chose to use Eureka Stamps "Bunny With Flowers".  I love to combine the digi stamps with rubber stamps.  I used a sentiment from DRS Designs; which is a rubber stamp I have had for several months.  This is the first chance I have had to use it.

New - Sister Act Card Challenge - DT Call

There's A New Kid (Blog) in town - starting soon - with "Anything Goes" Challenges every week!!

Welcome Jenny and Tricia!  We are so happy to have you as part of our blogging world.

Follow the Link Sister Act Card Challenge for more information
or enter for their Design Team
at Sister Act Card Challenge DT Call.  Good luck everyone.

I am excited to have this opportunity to apply for the DT and have chosen 3 of my favorite cards to enter.  I didn't realize how hard it would be to choose just 3 cards.  I think many of them become my favorites after I spend time making them.  I am sure that happens to all of you as well.

I chose a variety of different designs which include the Center Step Card, a regular card and a Magic Card.  I love all styles of cards; but I have to say my two favorites styles are the Center Step Card and the Magic Card.  They are so much fun to create.  I try to finish the inside of each card I create at the time I create it; so it is finished and ready to use.

My first card is a Center Step Card.  This card is combining many different dies together, a digi stamp as well as a CTMH stamped image.  I used the Cricut Artiste for the butterflies, Spellbinders for the frame and flower dies.  I also stamped the sentiment with CTMH Hooray Bouquet (retired stamp).

Center Step Card

Inside card 1

I chose my second card because I love the simple and elegant look of die cuts and punches on the same card.  I also used markers to color the image.  The image and sentiment are both digi stamps.

Regular Card

Inside Card 2

My 3rd choice is the Magic Card which I love for the elegance of the laced look edges and the simplicity of how it fits together. This was created for Thanksgiving using my Cricut Artiste for the outside sentiment, Cricut Art Philosophy for the flowers, digi for the pretty lady (already colored) and two digi stamps for the inside sentiments.

Magic Card (Center piece opens up from bottom.)

Inside Card 3

These are my 3 cards I have chosen which show both the outside and inside as well.  I am excited about this DT call and can't wait to see who is chosen to be part of this wonderful new team!!  No matter who is chosen; I know the team will be great with all of the awesome entries.  Good luck to everyone.

Good Luck "Side Step Card" Using Cricut Art Philosophy Cartridge

DT Project For Tammy's Scrapin Corner Challenge #53 - Include A Shamrock.

Hi to all my friends, family, followers and crafters.  I hope everyone is having a great time crafting and staying warm and dry.  It is rainy and cold here again in Southern CA as I write this on Friday.  Maybe it will clear up by Monday when this is published.

It is time for another wonderful week at Tammy's Scrapin Corner - Challenge #53 - Include A Shamrock.  Be sure to check out all the gorgeous creations by the other members of the DT.  They are a very creative bunch!!  Our sponsors this week are Milk Coffee and SK Digis.  Both of these sponsors have some incredible digi stamps; so be sure to check them out.  If you would like to be considered as a guest designer; please add GDT behind your name when entering the challenge.

I had a challenge finding a shamrock; but finally found a tag on the Cricut Art Philosophy Cartridge.  There are 3 leaf and 4 leaf shamrocks.  I think they both are considered Good Luck; which was what  I wanted for my card.  I chose Milk Coffee "Charlotte And Butterfly"; which I think is adorable.  A tutorial for this "Side Step Card" by Norma is found here.  I changed mine with the smaller piece on the left side and made it 2 inches on one side and 4 inches on the other side.
