Thank You Card Using CTMH Chantilly Paper and Cricut Art Philosophy Cartridge

DT Project For Tammy's Scrapin Corner Challenge #60 -  Anything Goes Lot's of Layers

Hello to everyone reading this blog.  I am so happy you dropped by.  I hope you are having a fabulous time creating and spending time with your family as well.  It is hard sometimes to keep the balance between family and taking time for yourself as well.  It is very important for us to take time for ourselves; as it makes us better people in the long run.  I raised three children plus worked full time; so I know how many balls you have to juggle at one time.  My daughter has 4 children and I don't know how she does it all.

I have been moving things around in our house so that I can now have my own room with my computer, desk and crafting all in one.  It isn't like other craft rooms as it is very small; but I am grateful to have it no matter what size it is.  We moved the bed and chest out and moved my desk with printer in here.  They both take up about the same amount of space.

I was able to add a beautiful new bookcase that is 13 in deep.  It has 4 shelves and a drawer on the bottom.  I also added another 4 ft. by 2 ft. work table from Costco.  It is kind of in the middle of the floor so I have an extra space to work.  I have two of them now.  I had one with all of my supplies stacked along one side of it against the wall; which doesn't leave me much room to work.  I am so happy to have another one.  I am so grateful to have this room.  I feel happy and smile every time I am in here.  I don't have to worry about moving everything out when company comes.  Yeah!!

I still have a lot of work to do in order to get everything back into the desk and organized.  Right now it is a mess.  I am trying to get organized as I put things away and determine what I want to do with all of it.

It's another fabulous week at Tammy's Scrapin Corner Challenge #60 - Anything Goes Lot's of Layers.  Our sponsors this week are Bugaboo and SK Digis.  Be sure to click on their name to see all the fabulous digi stamps that they offer.  Our Guest Designer this week is Kathi Silva.  Check out her blog for more wonderful creations.  If you would like to be a Guest Designer on our blog; please add GDT behind your name when your add your linky.  We would love to have you join us.  It is lots of fun.

I chose SK Digi Flower Bud this week to use on my card.  It comes with a sentiment "Thank You"; so I used both the flower bud with the sentiment.  I also used the card they created as a guide to help me create this weeks card.  It is much prettier in person.   These pinks don't turn out correctly with my camera; but I do the best I can.  I hope you enjoy it.

Friend Card Using CTMH Lucy Paper and Cricut Art Philosophy and Cricut Artiste Cartridges

Hello to all my wonderful Purpleglo Creations followers.  I have a fabulous card I created with a digi I received free from The Stamping Chef about a week ago.  If you participate in their Facebook Fan Page challenges; you can receive a free digi with each challenge as long as you create something for that challenge with it.  You should check it out.  They have wonderful Digis to purchase as well.  If you like this one; you can now purchase it. If you go to the Stamping Chef blog listed above; you can find their Facebook fan page. It is a closed group; so follow the link near the bottom of the page and hopefully there will be instructions on how to join.

This image is the "Lost Fairy".  I fell in love with it the minute I saw it and knew I had to create something with her.  I had a new CTMH "For A Friend" Stamp set I wanted to use; so I used it with this card.  You can find this Side Step Easel card tutorial on my Tutorial page.  The pink colors are very difficult to adequately show the true colors in these pictures; but hopefully you will get the idea.  The flowers are actually pink; although they look a different color.  I hope you enjoy this card as much as I did making it.  She is so beautiful!!

Birthday Card Using CTMH Chantilly Paper with Cricut Art Philosophy and Cricut Artiste

DT Project For Tammy's Scrapin Corner Challenge #59 -  Anything Goes Bling It Up

Hi to all you wonderful creators/readers/followers!!  I have had a very busy week!!  I am so excited because I am changing one of the spare bedrooms to my very own Craftroom/CTMH office!!  We moved the bed out last weekend and I am working to get my desk with computer moved in; so all of my work stuff and craft stuff are all together in one room.

I have been using part of two different rooms (one upstairs and one downstairs); because my husband didn't want to get rid of the extra bedroom.  I always have to move my craft stuff out of that room each time we have company; so now I don't have to.  Yeah!!  Don't worry; we still have two more rooms company can sleep in; so they aren't sleeping on the floor.  LOL!!

My husband will be happy now; because I can mess up one room instead of two.  I can close the door if anyone is visiting so they don't have to see my mess.  LOL!!  Craft rooms always look messy; but in reality it isn't messy to a crafter, if you know what I mean.  We also shopped last weekend for a bookcase and found a gorgeous white one that is actually 13 inches deep; which is hard to find.  It is  in my room waiting to be filled.  So much fun!!  I can't wait to get it all together in one room.

It is another fabulous week at Tammy's Scrapin Corner - Challenge 59 - Anything Goes Bling It Up.  I loved using lots of bling; which I haven't done much of in the past.  Our sponsor this week is Stamp Fairy.  I love her creations!  She is having a fabulous sale until April 30th; so I purchased a few to add to my collection.  She also has a lot of freebies on her website; which I am sure you will love as well.

We have two Guest Designers this week; Celine and Deanne.  Be sure to check out their blogs for all their wonderful creations.  If you would like to be a guest designer; add GDT behind your name when you add your creation.  We would love to have you.

I chose a Stamp Fairy image of Molly Throughout The Year March.  There were so many that it was hard to choose; but the butterfly on her hand helped me to make my decision.  I am a butterfly lover.

Friend Card Using CTMH Chantilly Paper With Cricut Art Philosophy and Cricut Artiste Cartridges

DT Project For Tammy's Scrapin Corner Challenge #58 -  Anything Goes For Spring Has Sprung

Hi all you wonderful crafters in blog land!!   I hope everyone is having a fabulous day!!  I bought a Mac computer and I'm trying to learn how to use it before getting rid of my Windows based PC.  I have been having so many problems with my current computer and it is only about 2 years old.  I had heard that a Mac was so much better; so I hope everyone is right.   It is a great machine; but it takes time to learn new things and sometimes I don't have the patience for it.  LOL!!

I am excited that it is another fabulous week at Tammy's Scrapin Corner - Challenge #58 - Anything Goes For Spring Has Sprung.  Be sure to check out all the fabulous creations by the DT.  Our sponsors this week are Eureka Stamps and SK Digis.  Our Guest DT this week is Rachel Taylor.  Drop by her blog to see her beautiful creations.  If you would like to be a Guest Designer on Tammy's Scrapin Corner, just add GDT behind your name when you enter your creation.  We would love for you to take a chance.

I decided this week to use one of the adorable Whoopsi Daisy images - Daisy - from the Daisy and Friends CD by Joanna Sheen.  I love this CD as it has a choice of colored images as well as plain ones so you can color them whatever you would like.  I have had it for several months and couldn't wait to use it.  The green matched perfectly with CTMH Chantilly paper pack.  I love the green and yellow together.  It has a touch of blue in it; but I chose to focus on the green and yellow only.  A tutorial for this "Side Step Card" by Norma is found here.  I changed mine with the smaller piece on the left side and made it 2 inches on one side and 4 inches on the other side.

Birthday Card Using CTMH Chantilly and Cricut Art Philosophy Cartridge

DT Project For Tammy's Scrapin Corner Challenge #57 -  Recipe - 1 image, 2 dies and 3 embellishments.

Hi to all you fellow crafters.  I finally finished my tax preparation and we filed Tuesday.  It isn't usually this stressful for me; but I didn't keep up with things the way I should have.  There is a lesson to keep up on things this year so I don't have all of this stress at one time.  I hope everyone is having a fabulous week and making time to craft.

We have had wonderful weather here in Southern CA.  I haven't gotten out to enjoy it much; but plan to get out there soon.  I got far behind on everything while my mom was here; but it was more important to spend time with her than to clean house or keep up on mail, etc.  Now it is catch up time.

It is another fabulous week at Tammy's Scrapin Corner Challenge #57 -  Recipe - 1 image, 2 dies and 3 embellishments.  Have fun and take time to create something for our challenge.  We would love for you to join us this week.  Our sponsor this week is QKR Stampede.  Be sure to visit their shop and check out their blog challenges too.  They have a lot of great Digi stamps as well as rubber ones too; so you have a choice of either one or both.

Our Guest Designer this week is Julie Wells.  Be sure to check out her blog for her wonderful creations.  If you would like a chance to be a Guest Designer; please add GDT behind your name when you enter.

I chose QKR Rose Label this week for my image.  I didn't realize there is also a square one like this.  I love this image and you can make it any size that you want with the Digi   I couldn't get the true colors for the purple.  This Gypsy is a gorgeous purple color; not as light as the inside picture but not as dark as the outside picture.  I didn't realize I had two different colors for the inside pink dies until after I had glued them down.  When I tried to remove; it was tearing the card; so I decided to leave it as it was.  My flower on the outside is a pretty pink fuchsia; but it looks red on this picture.
